Why does newkerk play? He can’t shoot and barely scores, he turns the ball over with lazy unforced turnovers. He is a senior, why not play someone with potential?

Been discussed at length. He's our best option. Green is way too erratic and sloppy. Durham just doesn't have it yet. Also can't shoot.

He, McSwain and Green are textbook Crean recruits. Athletes with low basketball IQ who aren't really skilled at anything, but can look good under ideal circumstances.

Exactly. Green is better than Josh but doesn’t help this team at all besides a nice pass here and there.

Looking back now, seems Archie knew this at the beginning of the season possibly. With giving green the start and Al playing a lot early on but neither grabbed the opportunity by the horns

Newkirk at least tries. He hustles and plays hard, he's just limited skill wise and has a low bball iq. I was high on Green at the start of the season but he's been so disappointing.
