A father just tried to jump Nassar in the courtroom.  Had three daughters abused.   This is beyond messed up.

If he really wants him to suffer, let him get to prison. Rapists aren’t treated well there.

Many of the other prisoners may have been abused themselves at some point, or have sisters etc.  It'll be a living hell for him.

Dude probably going to get protective custody.  We spend extra money to protect these pieces of crap while the guy that dealt sone weed gets shanked for looking at a guy wrong.

Protective custody is often imposed at the request of the prisoner (via the prisoner's attorney). HOWEVER:

Prisoners sometimes think that they want to be in protective custody, but after trying it they usually beg out of it quickly. It is VERY restrictive - basically stuck in you cell with no one to talk to, very little sunlight, a tray of awfulness delivered three times a day, no common television, no library access, no real canteen access, no real ability to exercise, no ability to incorporate into prison culture, etc, etc.

For most, the chance of, and occasions when other prisoners attack them is still preferable to protective custody, especially for long-term prisoners.

Not only did they continue to play Walton and Payne after it was known they did that, they went on an all out PR spree to show how awesome they were as people with the coverage of the community service they did at the children's hospital and the friendship they formed with the ill girl. It was a love fest afterwards and a PR coup

So there was 1 thing (PR control) Crean learned from Izzo?

Maybe a low blow here towards Crean. Apologies in advance but too good of a joke to pass up.

Can you imagine being that girl and their family watching that unfold after coming out with the story. She probably thought she would find support and see these guys punished.

Instead she got pressure from the university to drop it and the players became more loved.

I do remember that story well. I think her name was Lacey. It did seem that Payne was special to her and that was a cool story on its own. Sad that this all devalues that in a way.
