I'm blaming them (adults) for making it a 'circus' and a skeptical.  Most adults should not need to get joy from a decision of an 18-year-old. I think adults should sit back and wait for the young man to make his decision.  The whole 'crying' about when the young man is going to decide seems like an 'adult' problem to me.  Just my two cents... like I said ... I'm not too in touch with the recruiting scene.  I personally think the young man should be the one enjoying the process. Kinda of my point in the first place... And 'NO' the well-rounded comment had nothing to do with an adult. I listen to the young man speak and gave my opinion. I'm sure he has had adult influences in his life and I'm guessing the ones that matter don't want any part of the circus. If they want part of the spotlight then they're part of the problem.

I agree that fans in particular should just have patience and let the recruits decide when they want to decide. I don't care if they choose in the spring of their Junior year, the summer, before their senior season, during their senior season or after. Until they have eliminated IU we are in a good position.

Anyone worried about UCLA here?

I had the same thought last week but I still think it is a heavy IU lean. I've noticed with this recruitment that a lot of bigger schools stayed away from TJD. UNC and UCLA were the only other "blue bloods" involved (yes I still consider IU one). No Duke no Kentucky and no Kansas. I think part of that reason is schools know he is a heavy IU lean. I'm like everyone else and hope he commits soon but I'm glad he is enjoying the process. Only happens once in your life.

I would put them in a close 2nd right now. Sam Alford has been visiting with the family a lot from what I have been told. The bright spot is Alford should be fired after underachieving again this year.

That is another reason I still favor IU. I see UCLA not living up to expectations with Tyger and O'Neal out. Wherever he goes I'll root for TJD. Think he will be a very good college player.

I think it's because people have been leading us to believe, that whatever school is 2nd,  they'd be a far 2nd. A close 2nd existing isn't as comfortable.

I have no reason to doubt what the conventional wisdom here is, and there seems no logical conclusion other than IU, but.......sometimes the thing you are most familiar with grows a bit stale and something new becomes appealing. Especially if you become annoyed that everyone thinks they know what you are going to do.

Highly doubt this would have anything to do with his, or any recruit's, decision. This is nothing but message board reverse-psychology mumbo-jumbo.
