Donovan obviously the dream pick, but I feel like getting Bennett and convincing Fife to come here as assistant would be the best possible outcome. Bennett's playstyle with Fife will make the old people happy. While all the wins they'll be getting will make everyone else happy. If he can get elite guys final fours and maybe championships will come. Bo Ryan has a similar playstyle, only had elite players for 1 year and he won big ten regular season, tournament, and went to national championship game.

This is actually well put. Once Ryan got Dekker and some high 3 star low 4 star even type kids his program took off. Bennett just got a very good class last year but you cant go off of 1 year to judge him off that. If he was getting a few high stars sprinkled with a 5 star then he would be great here. Fife at his side is a sure thing to make coaching a strength against pretty much anyone we would face. Michael Porter put UVA in his top 4 too after backing out from UW. Obviously he is going to Mizzou but telling he added them to his list.

Gotlieb said that a week ago. Not happening. If they were only willing to get a coach for 2.5 million 4 is probably the highest they would go now. UCLA makes a lot of money and has the UA deal coming next year but 4 years ago Alford was the highest guy they really went after. Something about them doesnt attract the coaching guys that should be interested.

Yeah I think so. I just checked out their Twitter and it looks like they're building the new one now.

If it's done in time for Billy's visit to Btown Fred can slip him the contract papers while he's sidetracked by a nice banana split.

My wife and I managed to get there for their last day. Was shocked I was actually bummed a little I was not exactly a regular.

Correct. You won't find another forum that would have let it go on this long. That's usually a big no-no on any website. Aside from a few people I don't think anyone else here wants to continuously read about a couple guys over there who are feeding people a load of crap and watching them eat it up.

If you are speaking of my post referring to Insider, my apologies sir. I didn't join this forum last week. I, along with you have weeded thru the 400+ speculative, rumored and somewhat just plain ignorant posts of individuals claiming some inkling of knowledge on this hire. I was only making jest of some of those claims from that forum that found its way to this site. We are all excited about what this week has brought to our fanbase. A little humor (in good taste) goes a long way to lighten the mood. I would go on to surmise that 99% of the insider info is no better than a weatherman' rain forcast. Guestimations at best. Lighten up a little, pour a stiff one and enjoy the ride. It's been a long time since we've had this much fun.

I hope we wait. It's funny searching "Donovan Indiana" on twitter and reading the OKC fans. They really believe there's no chance Billy D leaves. They aren't beating the Warriors anytime soon, and Russ will bolt soon. No reason to stay there

I hope whoever was on here saying Defense is boring and Offense wins games is watching these games. So far every game, and almost every game last round, has come down to a few key defensive stops to win the games. And the scores are not 96-90. This has been great basketball to watch imo.

Exactly they were swept and badly in their own building without KD even. You could see it in Billys body language. Add the Spurs who arent going anywhere. The Rockets, T Wolves will get going eventually, Blazers are right there with OKC. Clippers wont go away no matter who leaves they will spend the money.

Was it super busy? I would go every now and then. Most times that I would think about stopping I would see the giant line of people and keep on driving lol.
