If it is Bennett he better win or it is going to get old watching that offense.........FAST!

I would say it's gotten worse. Simply because kids we are recruiting can't remember us being in a FF it raises anxiety. Hell I can barely remember anything from that 2002 season.

I would say it's gotten worse. Simply because kids we are recruiting can't remember us being in a FF it raises anxiety. Hell I can barely remember anything from that 2002 season. 

I must be getting old then. I don't really have anxiety about it. I have more faith this time around than the last 3 times combined. Now if we end up with Alford, I will feel worse about it. I just don't think that will be the case.

I prefer Bennett to all others.  I agree with your sentiments about his offense.  People in Indiana would love Bennett after giving him a chance.

Don't know if this should go here but I feel like all the cool kids are in this thread.

 

Was just thinking on the pot, where all my best ideas come from, I think it would be really cool if (when we have a coach) if we all could attend a game at the same time and all head to a bar or something beforehand for pregame.

 

For example.

Step 1. Start the thread to find a game that works for as many as possible

Step 2. Form an RSVP list so we know who can come

Step 3. Try to find a bar or restaurant that can take a reservations for however many can make it

Step 4. Have a hell of a meet and greet and pregame get together

Step 5. Win the game

 

Obviously this would be a ways out, but wanted to throw it out there. Maybe get some excitement going in here and take a brief breather away from stressing out over the new coach

Strange that Glass would make the comments in the presser about Indiana ties...literally the only candidate that checks all the boxes is Stevens and we know he isn't coming. I know he said he wouldn't "foreclose" someone who didn't have Indiana connections, but it all seems odd. Unless- somehow we are getting Stevens, or its just gonna be Alford. Doesn't make sense to make an ovation to IU/Indiana connections with so little to choose from, viably.
