Mooney reminds me a bit of Sheehey in attitude and on-court demeanor.  He had a welcome swagger, for the first 3 years he was here at least.

I watched a 7 min video of him on YouTube. Kid hit a lot of tough shots, so I could see that percentage going up with some players around him. From what I saw, let’s go get him! But then again I only saw that one video too. Anyone else have intel on him

South Dakota graduate transfer Matt Mooney (18.7 PPG) will host Bobby Hurley & an assistant from Iowa State today.  
Creighton & possibly Memphis will be in tomorrow. Indiana, Texas Tech & Northwestern are expected in on Sunday.

My order would be as follows

1) Romeo

2) Taylor 

3) Mooney

I think all three would greatly help and honestly I wouldn't mind getting 2 of the 3 as unlikely as that is because our shooting was so bad last year. The only reason I put Taylor ahead of Mooney is because he is 3 inches taller and the more length you have on the court the better.

If we learned anything from CAM in year one, it is that he won't tolerate TO's and boneheaded mistakes.

His turnover numbers aren't horrible considering how much he was using the ball.

CJ Walker just committed to Ohio St. He’ll sit one and play two. Great pickup for Holtmann. He got a lot of of Dakich, he’ll do the same with the much more talented Walker

Landing someone like Taylor will help the team on multiple fronts.  He's a 3pt shooter and 86 percent from the charity stripe.  He's got a lot of really good schools pursuing him.  I'm not sure he'll end up at IU but that would be a quality get if he ends up in Btown.
