TheWatShot Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Always got to be mindful that there are plenty of people out there who would love to screw with our fanbase. Make sure the account is verified (blue and white check mark next to the name). Last month, somebody created a fake Adam Schefter twitter by spelling it "A-d-a-r-n" noting that the r and n bled together and looked like an m. Quote

Uspshoosier Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Virginia has flopped in the NCAA tournament. That is the biggest thing when it comes to NCAA basketball. There is nothing more important than the NCAA tournament. But I do think Tony Bennett would be a great hire. I think he's had a lot of success with average to above average players. At IU, he would get top notch players. And he would be able to recruit the hell out of this state. That would translate to postseason success imoi personally wouldn't call losing to Izzo twice and boehiem last year as flopping in the tournament. I would call it a learning experience coaching against hall of famers. They controlled the game against Syracuse for a big chunk of that game. They picked a bad time to go cold and it cost them Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

Just couldn't get over the hump. Virginia had a chance to win their games in the last 5 minutes. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

I can understand losing to Izzo one of those years. But Virginia was better than both of those Michigan State teams. They should've won at least one of those two meetings. And Syracuse was a disaster. No way in hell Virginia should've lost that game. Malachi Richardson went crazy in that 2nd half. But that's still no excuse to lose that game Josh 1 Quote

Flopping in tournament to me means laying an egg with no chance at winning Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

Those coaches are the ones that find your weakness and attack it. Crean hasnt became one of those guys which bothers me, but also not many do. The Syracuse game seemed closer than the UNC or UK game but all 3 were bad. Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
