The sad thing is, tonight's game showed this team for the schizophrenic hot mess they are, and have been, under Crean's leadership. Perhaps Fred Glass, (and no small number of IU fans) get caught up in seeing threes fall left and right, but threes are a lot like wallpaper; they cover a multitude of errors, and this program, for too many years, has gotten by with wallpaper. Personally, I couldn't care less if they ran the table in the Big Ten Tournament. Conference tournaments are a sham anyway. This is a deeply flawed team, being led by a man whose basketball philosophy and teachings are equally flawed. It has no place being in Bloomington.

Yeah I can't ever do that. I don't think any less of anyone doing that, but it's not in my DNA. Why waste your time until they make a move if you just want the team to lose? What's the point?

Glass has already made overtures for a new coach and it's quite possible it's already a done deal just waiting for an announcement date.  Likewise, CTC (or his agent) are talking about a new job.  Both are too far down the road to stop at this point.

Glass has already made overtures for a new coach and it's quite possible it's already a done deal just waiting for an announcement date.  Likewise, CTC (or his agent) are talking about a new job.  Both are too far down the road to stop at this point.  

Until it's a done deal I will remain nervous.

I don't think it's about buying into"Cean's crap", I think it's about winning the PR game. If IU keeps winning, Glass has  real problem justifying letting Crean go. Now, if he chooses to leave on his own, then that's a different matter. I could see Crean "making his point" and then moving on.

I just want hope once again. There is no hope and has been no hope with Crean since the Syracuse debacle. I love IU and I want them to be elite again. I want them competing year in and year out for conference championships and national championships. That's how it should be at IU. Crean is fine with being just good enough. That's not good enough at a program with the prestige of IU

I enjoyed it and I think it shows what we should have done all year. I think Crean was already leaving and this will make Mizzou or wherever he wants to go want him more.

I'm not going to hate on the guys hoping for losses, but I can't join in. It's a foregone conclusion, Tommy is gone. It's fractured forever. It's over. Might as well enjoy a great win.

I don't understand how that would make it a problem for Glass. Crean isn't that good of a coach and he needs to go. It's really that simple.
