TOM CREAN FIRED

Recommended Posts

I'm beginning to wonder if Glass is even "thinking" about making a change. Is it even on the table?

Why are you beginning to wonder? What single speck of a thing has Fred Glass done in the past few months, since this season began to go downhill, to make you think that Glass is becoming less likely to dismiss Tom Crean?
Yeesh.

You clearly haven't been paying attention. Doyel was leading the call for Crean's firing after the Devin Davis incident. Enjoy your hate-filled bubble.

Yes he was but not this year. He spent most of the early season saying how great the team was and apologizing to crean. I guess you weren't following bud.

According to a mod on another site McRobboe os now involved. I guess those closed wallets are speaking loudly.

If McRobbie is involved then that's big, imo. I don't see him being a guy who really cares about basketball. If he's involved then I think that shows that the team's lack of success is really affecting the money supply.

A friendly piece of advice; when you start calling another poster "bud", it is a siren signal that they have gotten to ya!

Proves my point. Doyel flip flopping on Crean for viewership is more certain than what the topic of every single one of your posts will be.

I've met McRobbie and he doesn't know much about basketball, but he's a great President.  If he's getting involved it does mean the donors will decide to dry up funds.  I base this on my experience with another IU department when the donations were decreased.

Do you honestly know why he was apologizing to Crean?

Great read. Really hits the nail on the head. I can't stand my friends that try to tell me we're lucky to have Crean as a coach and how good he is. This article will definitely be shared with them so they can shut up and finally realize we kind of know what we're talking about. WHEN Crean is finally gone, I think many people, myself included, will appreciate what he did to help dig us out of the hole Sampson left us in. However, he's just not capable of doing anymore than what he's done. He was great at the time but that time has long passed and it's time to make the right decision and get us back to being a constant stay and contender in the tournament.

You don't need that kind of negativity in your life
