I was hoping we would hear something before the BTT but now it appears it will be after the BTT--I still think he is gone or IU would have publicly embraced him by now to maximize recruiting. Patience is needed but we just need this to be over with. I am still in the Crean to Mizzou and Donovan to IU camp. We deserve a coach like Billy D after what we have been through post-Knight. Let's think positive thoughts.....Janitor don't fail us now!

Several respected posters are saying he's gone, along with media speculation that he'll land at other places. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember all of this chatter in 2015. My opinion is he's gone.

I've thought about this too, but I really doubt any of this behind the scenes stuff would be happening if it was up to Crean. This is the highest paying job he'll ever have and his next gig will be a step down. He just doesn't strike me as the kind of person who would walk away on his own.

The Janitor said that he is positive that Crean is gone now more than ever on twitter. When asked why Crean sounded so positive tonight he said that Crean never gives up and he is like the energizer bunny. He also said that Crean is coaching practices like they are a top ten team he is so positive.

Thursday: We lose to Iowa
Friday Afternoon : Presser to announce Crean has resigned
Monday: Crean named head coach of Missouri

If we win somehow on Thursday..

Move the presser to Monday.

Washington is retaining Lorenzo Romar, OSU is too with Thad Matta. Mark Fox in doubt at Georgia. All confirmed by Pat Forde. Georgia has been the school I said to watch out for with Crean. I think we may have another suitor.
