That being said, I don't think he should be considered for the IU job at this time. When Coach K retires, it's a strong belief that Duke is going to keep it in the family. Do we really want to put ourselves in these shoes again 4 or whatever years from now? Now that I think about it, I imagine it's going to be a bit difficult for Collins to ever get a better job until that Duke position changes. LIHoosier 1 Quote

I've had problems for a long time. I never thought the 3 year rebuild should have been as bad as it was. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners Same here. The first two years I gave him a pass for the most part. When we regressed in year 3 I started to wonder. Then things went great for 2 seasons. The year of Vonleh is when I started having my first major concerns because we should have been much better. Last season I was all but done with him after the Duke game, then of course they completely reversed course, so I let it go. This year was definitely make or break year in my eyes (not that I would have been surprised to see him go earlier). If this team didn't accomplish a great season followed up by a deep tourney run, I was definitely on the train. Btownclouds, WayneFleekHoosier and ALASKA HOOSIER 3 Quote

kottke Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Can anyone remember which games, I believe it was during the Vonleh season, where we blew like 3-4 games, nearly in a row, at the very end of regulation? It was so ridiculous. Quote

Don't remember which games were at the end of regulation (except the home loss to PSU where they pressed and we crapped our pants in the last two minutes), but I remember having 8-10 point halftime leads at Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan and proceeding to get dominated in the second half.
