Still think Billy D is a long shot. I don't think I can handle getting geeked over a Billy D rumor, only to find out that we hire some underwhelming, unproven mid tier guy. I'll temper my expectations, personally. If we do land Donovan, I'll be the first to flip the fu** out.

I feel the same way, I'd love to have billy but the odds are slim right now. More likely to get a good young coach

The program is actually in no need of "work". It's primed and ready to roll. I think people are failing to realize that the program is teed up for a great coach.

A couple years ago there were rumors that IU was willing to pay around 7 mil or so IIRC, so I don't think money will be an issue.  Plus the infrastructure he would need is already in place, it's not like he's building a program from scratch he'd be stepping in and instantly have all the resources he needs.
