Well he said he love Indiana. He grew up in Indiana and an Indiana fan. He knows the fan base can't be happy with all this and I'm sure he's not happy to see all this.

I'm starting to think Glass may not be such a Crean fanboy as I once thought.

It's no easy task. But another year of Crean will do more damage to a lot of the fanbase.

Most seem happy with Holtman but IDK. Not going to get me too excited.
Stevens I'd love, but don't think he wants to deal with recruiting.

Heck, I will be hard to please because I'm not excited about the realistic options much.

I doubt that either Glass or Crean see much of the email/snail mail that comes their way. They have people to screen it, shred it and send out canned responses.

I've written 4 or 5 times over the past 3 years... and the e-mails that I've gotten in response are pretty much the same form letter. They may have several versions, but the message is the same:

"Thank you for your email regarding Tom Crean and the Indiana University men’s basketball program. Please know that I read all of my emails, including yours, and I take all comments that I receive very seriously. I appreciate you taking the time to write."

Blah, blah, blah. Turn up the heat.

Wouldn't be easy, of course, but Billy Donovan would be excellent. I think losing Durant a year ago and potentially losing Westbrook next year could at least get him to strongly consider it.

So do we wait til May to try and hire him? That is very risky. Kids on the fence of transfer would have to because summer sessions start mid May. We lose out on April recruiting and grad transfers. I think in this scenario we scrap next year.

I agree. IU has good players that are not being given the proper coaching. They play dumb at times but that is also a reflection of the coaching staff. How a team plays is usually a reflection of the coaching staff

Glass had the perfect opportunity to let Crean go when we had all the arrests. He was too busy discussing Crean's X's and O's and his fandom for Crean is obvious. These examples combined with his signing off on the worst contract extension in IU history shows he will never get us back to a national title. They both need to go.

Because fred will probably use the injuries as an excuse to keep him on. Claim the year didn't count because he was short handed.
