IUfan_Charlie Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Not a great showing, but a win. McSwain has been really disappointing. Thoughts? Quote
IUsince1980 Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 He seems to be forcing things and simply just not a good finisher. Not sure he is Big10 type player.Sent from my SPH-L720T using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

HooHooHoo22 Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 OG needs to work on dribbling and may wanna stay another year. (Please) and McSwain had some good moves but yeah I don't think he belongs in the big ten but he'll come in handy this year with Hartman out Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners WayneFleekHoosier and Crimson and Cream 2 Quote
KingPG21 Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 JBJ had a stretch where he looked great. Good game by OG. Good game by Rojo. Man we got to get Bryant more shots against a team like this. McSwain........... man maybe don't shoot it so much FortWayneHoosier, Crimson and Cream and IUfan_Charlie 3 Quote
IUsince1980 Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Sounds as if Hartman is out all year according to SethSent from my SPH-L720T using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
MartintheMopMan Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Even Priller looks better than last year. Hoosier Roots and rebelhoosier848891 2 Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Good win----Umass-Lowell was better than I thought. They just beat a Wagner team that beat UConn. Great balance and great depth shown again in a workman-like win. We took our foot off the accelerator about half way through the second half or it would have been ugly and we got a lot of other players into the game for some minutes. Too early to write off McSwain---let's see how he develops. Blackmon is wired to score----and score---and score! Great to see Blackmon and Morgan with 7 boards each. RoJo was tough too----16 points--5 rebs--5 assists. That's a good stat line. Keep it up Hoosiers! Crimson and Cream, hoosha61, Bobman1 and 2 others 5 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Never thought I'd be saying this 3 years ago but I miss Hartman. McSwain will be tough to utilize. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners BGleas 1 Quote

Alford Bailey Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Im not worried about it. We didnt play great and still scored 100. Plenty of guys getting action is good. Work on those layups Freddy. BGleas 1 Quote
Josh Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Who saw Blackmon being the beast he is so far this year? Great game. Seth Davis said Hartman's injury is the same ACL injury Blackmon had last year. Slow start, great middle, MSB kind of finish. 2-0 baby! Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Lowell is surprisingly decent. Shot makers. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners Napleshoosier and Alford Bailey 2 Quote
VO5 Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Just now, WayneFleekHoosier said: Never thought I'd be saying this 3 years ago but I miss Hartman. McSwain isn't going to be a good option. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners He's just too raw right now. He absolutely can rebound and play the passing lanes, but everything else needs A LOT of work. He can be serviceable next year, but doesn't look to add much to this years squad. Quote
Josh Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Why do so many of our players shoot left side layups with their right hands? Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Strengths: Shooting---56.3 % for the game and 40.7 % from 3. Outrebounded them 46-24 with 54 points in the paint. Weaknesses: Defensive lapses. Heard at least 10 guys played at least 10 minutes Deron Davis is getting better and better---and Priller ---brought it home! hoosierdogg 1 Quote
IUfan_Charlie Posted November 17, 2016 Author Posted November 17, 2016 Bryant should be getting 10 shots minimum per game. Sometimes 15+. No excuse for us not getting him looks. pappy1865, Bobman1, Josh and 2 others 5 Quote
Josh Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Early in the game Lowell seemed to be getting to the rim easily both with shots and rebounds. Then Juwan Morgan came into the game. He rebounded with energy and seemed to change a lot of momentum. ElectricBoogaloo, hoosha61 and Stuhoo 3 Quote
