This is the only time ever I have been able to listen to how a recruitment was going. Never had any inside info on anything before. You can thank Walsh for this commitment when it happens. BM's girlfriend is going to IU as well, not that it makes a difference. Everything I heard after this weekend made me think IU will be getting their remaining wish list. He also loves Dusty, Michigan not so much. Won't hear from me on this subject anymore. Go IU!

I think IU could find someone to talk to him about the differences between IU and Oregon if it comes down to those two. I think that person would likely view IU more favorably than Oregon.

I think once we beat UCLA, they'll start packing the place. After the Charlotte beatdown, all of the home B1G games should be rowdy full houses. It's nice that the talking point is the crappy crowd vs the good football team and not the other way around like it was in 2021 and 2022. We can't forget the Cincinnati crowd, almost selling out a Friday night vs. Idaho, last year's opener vs OSU, etc.

USC is kinda QB U. Not to downplay Sunseri's connection, but USC has incredible QB coaching with proven NFL results. The big selling point for IU may be the chance to immediately be the unquestioned starter. Not thinking that's in the cards at USC.

That's completely not true. We were the best team in the NFL in pass pro last season and 2nd in rushing OL grades. We have the 2nd best OL in football (or did last season) we still need to perform that way this season, obviously. DL had a franchise record for sacks. Cmon now. And that's fine, if it does fail, it's still the right pick.

If Julian comes to IU, the stands will definitely be more full, specifically to be able to watch him play. Again, IF he comes, it will most likely be because of Sunseri, and what he has seen from the new IU. JMO

He cannot be appreciating that Shadeur Sanders is close to getting decapitated as Colorado's QB. Though IU has looked good, he cannot be appreciating that IU has looked good in a half-empty home stadium. So far this year USC has been all that and a bag o chips. If NIL is relatively equal and he wants to be on the west coast.....?

Tom Brady has a long, long way to go as an analyst. This isn’t a natural thing for him in any way. And I really don’t get the idea of paying almost 40 mil a year for him.

And mercifully it ends with a final score of 9-0. HUGE day for Layla Sirdah scoring 4 goals. For the match the Hoosiers fired off 43 total shots with 17 on goal and had 8 corners. Defense limited Lawrence to just 2 total shots, neither on goal and no corners. Despite how bad Lawrence may be as a team that's still a pretty darn good defensive effort by the women. UCLA is apparently not a very good team. The barely beat Hawaii on the road by one last minute FG. UCLA has a new head coach and staff. ESPN has ND 10th in spite of losing at home to 28.5 point underdog NIU…. If IU wore ND uniforms we would probably be a top 15 team..LOL

We had some pretty big strong freshmen playing on defense in the second half. Makes for interesting prospects for the future.

This very true. My grandson was on the team on scholarship for one year. They suspended classes in the spring semester because they couldn't afford to pay the professors. He left school after that and joined the Navy.

I cleaned up my original post a bit for clarity's sake. He may or may not go to IU, but my overall point is, having followed a lot of recruiting over the past few years, there doesn't really seem to be a lot of validity to 95% of the rumors so I take most with a grain of salt. That doesn't mean I don't appreciate the rumors and find them interesting, but some stuff is hard to prove unless you're getting it from the horses mouth so to speak.

I understand what you're saying, and don't know anything about Mullins feelings but you're using what "Locked On UConn’s" Mark Zanetto said as confirmation to what you've said previously. I have no idea where the rumor is coming from or who you know that is saying he doesn't like Woody much, but a UCONN guy saying he won't go to IU "...if he doesn’t feel comfortable with IU’s staff" is pretty obtuse or as general of a statement as one could make and most likely based on fans apathy or distain for Woody last year, not any real insider information. In other words this just sounds like this guy repeating the negative recruiting rumors previously mentioned. But like I said, I don't know anything more than what's been mentioned online.
