  1. Unfortunately only the diehard fans know this. It only reinforces the IU laughing stock persona to the other 99.9% of the college football world.

  2. Top 100 ‘23 SG George Washington de-commits from OSU. Don’t love him. He’s a remorseless gunner who thinks he’s a PG. Holtmann is apparently going to push hard on Lawrent Rice, who isn’t as highly rated but for my money is a better player.

  3. It’s deliberate. That’s the typo from the walk-on’s jersey from last year. Just college guys being snarky.

  5. That last 3 or so minutes was nuts! Very entertaining to watch for sure…especially when you don’t have a horse in it.

  7. A cupcake of a different kind. How does this work? Each week I will create Prediction League threads for the weeks game(s). It's a simple concept: Each week you start with 100 points (only if a prediction is made, otherwise 0 points for the week) +25 PTs if you guess the winner -25 PTs if you pick the loser +10 PTs if guess IU score correctly +10 PTs if guess Opponent score correct -The # of points different between the actual and predicted score of IU (over/under doesn't matter) -The # of points different between the actual and predicted score of opponent (over/under doesn't matter) *** Reminder if you post a prediction and want to change it, please just POST a NEW Prediction, do not edit a prior post as I may miss those edits. The person with the most points (MINUS LOWEST GAME) at the end of the season wins.

  8. Oof that sucks... I mean he was our best lineman on a line that was already horrid... Honestly don't think it really matters in the grand scheme. Hopefully he can come back to a new position coach next year.

  9. Although I agree some guys don’t go where there is too much talent, because they are afraid they might not start right away, great programs stack guys after guys after guys. We have to do the same to get the program where we want it.

  10. Watching this JSU and FAMU game and 3 questions I have: 1) How is JSU only ranked 17 in FCS with the talent they have? 2) How long until Prime Time takes a FBS job? 3) What school will it be? Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

  11. IU COULD notify those who requested tickets for Arizona in Vegas whether they got them or not. The Big Ten basketball schedule COULD be released. Perhaps too early but Arrinten Page COULD announce his college destination.

  12. In Travis Branham's story for 247 on Washington's de-committment and also in his tweet he claims Washington had an IU offer but it must have been a double secret offer because we've got absolutely zero about him on btb! :-D

  13. My guess he ends up at Louisville. They are starving for guards and could promise minutes.

  14. I hope we get Page but am not overly worried about us getting a good big man. We got Bates late, Malik late and there will be some talent in the portal.

  15. Jeez. We will find someone for the spot if Page goes elsewhere. We are in good hands and the staff will do what needs to be done. The more talent we have the harder it is to attract kids who might have to sit behind older guys. This is a good problem. It means we are about to be really good.

  17. Top 50ish SG Isaiah Coleman, who had offers from most of the SEC and ACC, and at 1 point seemed to be a priority of Bruce Pearl, commits to College of Charleston. Love it.

  19. Rothstein: Ohio State's Seth Towns is stepping away from basketball and will not play during the upcoming season, per his Twitter page. Has battled multiple injuries the past few years. Transfer from Harvard.

  23. Not from what I’ve seen. Seems he is sticking with his original 5. Usc, Cincy, IU, Missouri and Miami. No clear leader. Usc and Cincy give him a chance to play with collier if collier picks one of those schools. IU is in a spot but you never know in recruiting

  24. We got a conference win that is likely one we need to be a bowl team. We have games against Idaho and Western Kentucky to try to get the line issues corrected. Take the win. Get better.

  25. I'm not thrilled with where the program is right now and I still think Hiller sucks out loud at his job, but this was a good win. Illinois isn't great, but they would have waxed us a year ago. Some momentum is better than none.
