After seeing Cujo yesterday a Preston committ would give us a real shot to win the Big Ten next year 

Newkirk, Johnson, Cujo, Preston, Davis

With Greene, Smith and Morgan off the bench. That's a very solid 8 man rotation. Any other contributors will be a huge bonus. 

Yep, we add a Preston we will continue to have a chance.
Juwan Morgan will start next year.

Very possible but if we get Preston I think we would have 6 guys who should start, Cujo looks like he's going to force us to start him next year.

We seem in this one. Problem is Kansas has a big need for him too and they are viewed "incorrectly" as a better one and done place to play.

I didn't thinks Wilkes was a one n done kid but I do think Preston is. Might not be the most efficient player but he has the tools to do it all.

1) IU really does look like such a fun place and brand of basketball to play in, and 2) Bilas was pumping up the player development and Crean's/staff's skill for preparing guys for the NBA.

Crean looks to trying to go 10 deep so can't imagine we will lose anybody expected to produce too much

Morgan would (and should) start in that rotation, and either Newkirk or Jones would be first off the bench.  Just my opinion though.

I feel like, in Crean's system, he could be a very good player in an IU jersey. He's an athletic, versatile wing, who can play the 3 or the 4. He can shoot the rock and also can play very well inside. I don't know why, I just have a feeling that he'd be a very good CBB player at IU. Bottom line, he'll be good wherever he goes, but I think, without bias, that he'd get the most out of his one year if he comes to Bloomington.

Regardless, I'm glad he's getting his decision out of the way in the fall.  Sorry but I don't have any confidence in getting him at all, but once he makes it known, hopefully that allows us to go all-in for Tucker into the spring.

Still holding out hope though.

I've given up on a 2017 big unless it's a grad transfer. Preston could fill the role of backup big while Davis rests and play as a point forward or high in the high low with Davis. I really like the versatility of Preston but see him at Kansas or USC.

What a coincidence that after a 5 Star forward commits to a school not named IU. Another 5 star forward sets his decision date for within a week. Just a little glimmer of optimism to brighten your hopes.

As many have stated this is reminiscent of other Crean victories Vonleh and even to a degree Bryant.  Hopefully he watched Cujo, Morgan, Rojo and Davis on Friday and thought that they would make a great supporting cast.  And then watched Bryant and thought, I can do that.
