Different schools are offering things that Crean refuses to offer. Plus it's an 18 year old kid making decision, so could be a million different reasons.

Crean tells them where they need to improve. Most 5 stars just here how good they are. Plus he stresses academics. That narrows the list. But still you would think it would be a little easier to fill our 5 spot.

Yes, but we miss most of those too. Waters, Goodluck, Pinson. I fear he knows more than us on Wilkes too.

Granted he holds to his hunches until the final day though. Could certainly be a flip to our advantage.

I honestly think Myers has something against IU. Maybe because we bug him 24/7 with questions about this and that on Twitter, I don't know. I know he hardly has anything nice to say about us

Question - Is Indiana the "dad" of college basketball? Telling them how to improve, focusing on academics, Crean has developed these kinds of relationships with recruits/players. Not saying its a bad thing (its a good thing) but for 5* guys, they likely want to hear how you're going to get them to the NBA.....and likely not much else.

Nova just won a title with averaging around a Top 30 class the last 5 years and we also beat the one and factory because we were the better team. We're just not geared to get high-level 5* star guys right now and that's probably fine. We should get one or two every few years but I would expect more of the same as far as recruiting classes go unless something drastically changes with the recruiting approach and what IUBB values.
