Class of '66 Old Fart Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 Marion beaten at home by #1 ranked in 1A Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian 69 - 60. My scorecard is even more unofficial than usual as it came from listening to the Marion radio broadcast. Blackmon finished with 27 points on 8-21 FG; 5-10 on 3's and 6-10 FT; reb; 3 assts; 4 stls; 1 TO. As a team Marion had a pathetic shooting night finishing 20-61 for 32%. They only mad 2-15 FG in the 1st Q and were lucky to only be down by 11 pts. HoosierAloha, jepwatso, LockdownD and 2 others 4 1 Quote

Popular Post Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted March 10, 2019 Popular Post Posted March 10, 2019 Jalen Blackmon was in attendance for IU/Rutgers. Blackmon & Lander are going to be big time targets in that '21 class that I expect to be bigger than the 3 spots open. Rob would be going into his senior season & Archie can show video of these past few games of Devonte & him sharing the ball/court at the same time. I expect Lander to be the priority, but Blackmon will be right behind. His stroke is relentless & looks to rival JBJ as the family's best shooter.
