Yeah I'm not getting the hate on Raimman's play. Dude far exceeded any realistic expectations you could have had for him. He was expected to be a project to contribute later. You want to have a problem with someone(s) it's your Pro Bowlers Q and R. Kelly. And well Pryor earlier in the year obviously.

Scary situation in this MNF game. 

Damar Hamlin made a tackle, started to walk away, then collapsed. Apparently, he was receiving CPR on the field. Cannot imagine what happened.

I switched over to PU-Rutgers while he was hurt, so I didn't see all that. They're temporarily suspending the game. 

Players were crying on the field.

Prayers to this young man.

Saw the video.  He made a tackle, kind of took a shoulder pad to the just.  Stood up, was unsteady and then fell to the ground.  Kind of looked like he his body seized up.

Used a defib on him on the field apparently. Not good. No chance they can finish this game.

Seems as if he took a hit at the chest at exactly the wrong time -- maybe. No idea. Didn't seem like a head/neck injury. 

You hate to speculate on what might/might not have happened. But I think ESPN needs to get a medical expert on to discuss possible scenarios. There are just a bunch of laypeople talking that have no idea what's going on.

Reports seemed to be out that when he was left in the ambulance he had a pulse but was not breathing on his own.

Fox Cincinnati sports reporter Tricia Macke tweeted that he has been intubated and is listed in critical condition.

If the rumors are true about the NFL wanting them to get back out there and play. **** this league. Seriously what a bunch of morons who make decisions

During the broadcast the announcers said the teams would get 5 minutes before starting the game back up.

Honestly, don’t try to play the game.  Will be a little while before they even know if Hamlin is going to be okay.  So two teams play 16 games….so what.

Other than the 5-minute warmup deal (which still wasn't the end of the world, if even a little insensitive..."they" can make that call all day and the coaches and players can still say no) I thought the NFL handled the whole process last night really well. The teams too, obviously. It isn't always as easy as "make the right call, NOW".

Good thread above on how well the NFL handled it. We don't always need to find someone to be mad at in extreme circumstances.

Agreed. Sending a stadium full of people(many of whom were inebriated) out in the streets 2 hrs before support staff are expected could be problematic.
