Deion is the ringleader of a self created circus that pays well and in realizing has come, and entering on it’s way out…then gone….good for him.   He made some good money like many others with his around 50% win record circus show.

Definitely not my style.  He's got no issues throwing stones back.

Here's the thing though, he might be right.  He's got a season to prove it.

He is irrevocably wrong before any analysis of the substance of the tweet. An organizational leader that responds to criticism in that manner is wrong no matter what the answer is to the player analysis.

Shedur Sanders, as a quarterback and potential team leader, posted an awful tweet too for the same reason.

Might be! I won't be holding my breath.

I would like to hear about how the Bedford situation played out in December. Better offer from Oregon? Scared off by Deion's BS? Both equally likely imo, but could be something else too.

You and me both.

No disagreement from me in regards to the context of what you're trying to convey. All leaders have a style and his style doesn't sit well with half of the country while on the other hand it's just the style the other half desire.

Artfully stated!  ;)

Jaden Rashada now suing everyone involved with his Florida NIL implosion except the actual school. So, so gross.

Gross on whose part? The adults who reneged on their contract? The player for suing to hold them to what he was promised in the contract?

I hope he wins and similar lawsuits are filed against people at other schools who make promises of big money then renege. It sounds like that is actually pretty common.

The adults deserve the whoopin’ they’re gonna take, no question, and I imagine we’ll see several more of these. But I also have a tough time viewing a kid who reneged on his NIL agreement with FSU and then after being jobbed at Florida made a 6 month pit stop at ASU before heading off to UGA as the poster child for exploited youth. This may be the new normal, but it’s gonna be a gradual process for me to find it not slimy. And I’m saying that as someone who was thrilled to get Ballo, so my hypocrisy is on full display.

Yeah, the decommitment isn't a great look but I can totally understand why he did it. He was promised almost 50% more than than Miami. If I had a job offer that I had accepted but hadn't started yet then another company that seemed just as good came along and offered me 50% more, you better believe I'd jump on that. So I can't really blame him.

The article also said that he didn't get much NIL at ASU to the lies really cost him a lot of money.

What is really needed is some sort of collective bargaining agreement that would make commitments on both sides binding. Until that happens, it'll be the wild west and the NCAA is powerless and the best way to avoid these types of situations is lawsuits like this acting as deterrents.

NCAA, Congress (legislative) and US Judicial made their beds. Until we see changes at those three levels (legislative in particular) this will be common practice. Every athlete will shop in this environment. I would do the same. And if this happened to me by a company today you better believe I'd lawyer up. Especially with that kind of money.

Let's just hope IU doesn't get caught up in this kind of stuff.

TIL that when Jeff Brohm went down for Louisville in 1991, Cowboy Bill Watts's son Eric took over as backup for the Cardinals and proceeded to go 1-9 for the season.

Proceeded to have a shitty pro wrestling career cuz he was a nepo baby, that I did know, but I was shocked to know where he played and who he freaking took over for.
