College Football Thread

Nothing like a sworn rival's message board to get some juicy 'infospeculation'.

MSU has a notably interesting thread:

54 pages in 21 hours? That thread exploded about as good as a Fire Woodson thread.  Taking the scUM (love that term) plane for "recruiting" while he was hooking up with OF girls?  Wow, they really are letting it all out.

A business partner that doesn't share its revenue?

I'm not arguing their point one way or the other.  But they would argue that almost all of their road games in the ACC are sell outs (90 plus percent) vs 23 percent of the games they aren't involved in.  The game ratings on TV are generally up as well.  And they do rev share in other sports.

But whatever the point was, my point was they were not asking to ACC to advocate for them which was what was being said in this thread.  They wanted them to not say anything.

And not advocate for one of their own member schools? Seems silly IMO

Just thinking, the Big 10 made some really good coaching hires this cycle.

Fitzgerald at MSU. Campbell at PSU. Chesney to UCLA.

MSU and PSU will do well.

UCLA feels like a tough place to succeed.

We will see who Michigan hires. I'd think Jedd Fisch. That'd be pretty good considering the carousel is basically over. Can't wait to see what we do in the portal.

More info on the Moore incident... it's a really sad story...

https://www.foxnews.com/sports/fired-michigan-coach-sherrone-moore-accused-stalking-victim-for-months-police-dispatch-audio

Audio of a 911 dispatch call obtained by Fox News Digital details allegations of an alleged "domestic" assault in which police said the victim claimed "there's a male at the location and the house attacking her" and noted that the suspect had been "stalking her for months."

The audio goes on to say that the suspect, "did put a knife to his throat and ran out."

According to TMZ Sports,  additional audio from dispatch included the suspect's wife saying he is suicidal due to "losing his job today."

Moore’s name was not mentioned in the audio, but TMZ Sports reported that the call came from a Michigan football employee's address in Ann Arbor at the time Moore was arrested on Wednesday.

Whitt is a hell of a coach. Those will be some big shoes to fill.

Apparently he is not retiring and could seek other opportunities.

Maybe he hates the PE deal Utah just got into? Maybe UM just got their guy (kinda doubt it but what other college jobs are even out there right now?)
