TheWatShot Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Pretty smart move by Tulane to kick the PAT to make it 45-37 instead of going for 2. That made it a one score game, which became a 6 point game after the safety, and allowed them to win with another touchdown and PAT. If they had gone for 2 and failed, they still would have been down 9, the safety would have made it 7, and they may have ended up going to overtime. Quote

Yeah not sure what was going on there, because I’m pretty sure he had to cut ties with Pointsbet before he got “hired” by Purdue. Doubt they’d let a sportsbook employee be a college football coach in the first place. Quote

Not the other way around and not before the hire. Brees was hired on the 15th and PointsBet announced that they had cut ties with him on the 22nd. Quote

I couldn't believe Purdue compliance pushed that hire through with him still being employed by Pointsbet, but it surprisingly doesn't look like it's against the rule. College players, coaches, and staff can't even bet on overseas Cricket matches, but they can endorse those companies - unless they're in NJ. Wild. Quote
Alford Bailey Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Many very good bowl games this year. In the current landscape you really have to do some homework and figure who is sitting out though. Quote
