Pretty smart move by Tulane to kick the PAT to make it 45-37 instead of going for 2. That made it a one score game, which became a 6 point game after the safety, and allowed them to win with another touchdown and PAT. If they had gone for 2 and failed, they still would have been down 9, the safety would have made it 7, and they may have ended up going to overtime.

LSU -14.5 was honestly a charitable contribution to gamblers on behalf of Vegas.

NJ blocked all bets on the game cuz of 'Coach' Brees' affiliation with one of the online books.

Yeah not sure what was going on there, because I’m pretty sure he had to cut ties with Pointsbet before he got “hired” by Purdue. Doubt they’d let a sportsbook employee be a college football coach in the first place.

A saw that a week after Brees was hired that the company cut ties with him. Not the other way around and not before the hire. Brees was hired on the 15th and PointsBet announced that they had cut ties with him on the 22nd.

I couldn't believe Purdue compliance pushed that hire through with him still being employed by Pointsbet, but it surprisingly doesn't look like it's against the rule. College players, coaches, and staff can't even bet on overseas Cricket matches, but they can endorse those companies - unless they're in NJ. Wild.

Some local guy news...Carson Steele from Center Grove transferred to UCLA.

Watched him dominate the MIC conference as a freshman which is unheard of with high school freshman in that conference

Kid is a monster. No one in the MAC could stop him either and Chip likes to run the ball. Good situation for him.
