Has to be pretty blatant in that scenario to get called. Plus, the CFP needed Cincy to win so they could drop them a couple spots and keep people coming back to the Tuesday night ESPN show. craigyv88, Class of '66 Old Fart and Demo 3 Quote

craigyv88 Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 I just want to see this happen at Memorial Stadium after a big upset one time. It crushes me seeing Purdue do it again and again. Quote

There's really no excuse for us to be having the season we are having. It's a tremendously wasted opportunity. Needs to be some serious program evaluation in the off season. Hoosierfan2017 1 Quote
Hovadipo Posted November 8, 2021 Author Posted November 8, 2021 Nebraska announced it’s retaining Scott Frost (LOL) and firing pretty much the entire offensive staff. I’m sure that was the problem. Quote
landrus13 Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 Dan Mullen fired his DC and OL coaches today. Trying to save his job. Not sure it'll work. Florida boosters and athletic administration should be all over him after that horrific loss to South Carolina. He also said a "damning" thing in his press conference today. Said he wants his teams to be better at the end of the season compared to the beginning of the season. Well, I think he's failed in that regard. upperarlington 1 Quote
LamarCheeks Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 From the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks to ... Storrs, Connecticut? From head coach in the NFL to running the No. 3 program -- if that -- on campus. Interesting ... Rico 1 Quote

LamarCheeks Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 Not sure if this is true or not, but I've seen more than one report about it. I still don't understand all the Mel Tucker love. He's college football's equivalent of Dexy's Midnight Runners (Come on Eileen) -- a one-hit wonder. He somehow got hired in East Lansing after one season at Colorado -- and he was 5-7 there. Sparty was bad last year and while having a good run this season, they barely beat Michigan, needed OT to beat Nebraska and we'd have beaten them if not for our pathetically inept offense. Now, he's apparently in line to get huge dollars from MSU -- after being mentioned as a top candidate at LSU. I'm a Bears fan, and he was the DC in Chicago for two seasons a few years back -- and that defense was historically awful. To each his own and far be it from me to tell MSU how to spend its money -- but I'd sure as hell think about tamping the brakes on the Mel Tucker train. I just don't get it. IUc2016 1 Quote

There’s a really solid handful of schools hoping Florida doesn’t fire Mullen. That’d reallllly complicate an already insane carousel. Quote
