KingPG21 Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Man........ Kirby is gonna get absolutely destroyed by the media Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Wow. Bama should not have won this one. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners theriverpilot 1 Quote
Hoosier Guy Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 That fake punt was beyond dumb. Why didn’t Smart call a timeout? The defense was still on the field theriverpilot 1 Quote
KingPG21 Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 So Georgia is better than Oklahoma. Too bad they had to win to make the CFP. Quote

I'm biased, as a long time Sooner fan. But I could make the argument this was a defacto playoff game for Georgia, and they lost. If you keep Georgia over OU or O$U then it's another year of listening to everyone whine about the SEC getting preferential treatment. Maybe you're right and Bama puts up 90 on the OU defense. Or maybe the Sooner D makes just enough plays and we get a 54-48 2OT game like OU and Georgia had last year. As long as someone crushes Notre Dame, I'll be happy either way lol BtownStrength 1 Quote
LIHoosier Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Its funny...5 hours ago I couldn't stand Northwestern but now I adore them. Go Purple! johnsoniu 1 Quote

BtownStrength Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 If Clemson and OSU win, what does the playoff field look like? Bama, Clemson. Notre Dame, and Oklahoma? Could Georgia or OSU sneak in? Quote

Notre Dame 4. Oklahoma Notre Dame obviously will get in and deserve it going undefeated, but I find it hard to believe Georgia or OSU wouldn’t smack them. And I’m just not big on OU, but they’re fun to watch. Quote
biteoftheapple Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 OSU is not creating those style points they needed. Sorry Urban. Quote

Walking Boot of Doom Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 I’m thinking Brohm was taking the job. What wasn’t expected was Purdue throwing anymore money his way to make him stay. So I think Dakich was right in that Brohm was going to Louisville but wrong in the end because of the move by Purdue.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile appThat’s a logical explanation. But one that also results in Dan Jockitch being wrong. Adding a couple clarifiers to his black and white statement would make it less rigid. Hoosier Guy Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 I think it’ll be Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame and Ohio State Quote
Bobman1 Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 This is the first year in a while I feel where we’re all pretty unsure of what the committee will do. Most think Oklahoma secures the #4 spot but I truly wouldn’t not be surprised with any combination of teams. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Alford Bailey 1 Quote
TheWatShot Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 ESPN had 52 experts pick who they think should be in. All of them had Alabama, Clemson and Notre Dame in some order, except one who has Georgia in over Notre Dame. 34 have Oklahoma in. 12 have Georgia in. 6 have UCF in. 1 has OSU in. Quote
