So Georgia is better than Oklahoma. Too bad they had to win to make the CFP.

Agreed. Georgia had a much better shot to win the CFP but won't get in. The fake will be talked about in GA for a long time.

I'm biased, as a long time Sooner fan. But I could make the argument this was a defacto playoff game for Georgia, and they lost. If you keep Georgia over OU or O$U then it's another year of listening to everyone whine about the SEC getting preferential treatment.

Maybe you're right and Bama puts up 90 on the OU defense. Or maybe the Sooner D makes just enough plays and we get a 54-48 2OT game like OU and Georgia had last year. As long as someone crushes Notre Dame, I'll be happy either way lol

If Clemson and OSU win, what does the playoff field look like? Bama, Clemson. Notre Dame, and Oklahoma? Could Georgia or OSU sneak in?

The best 4 with a shot are (in my opinion) Bama, Clemson, Georgia, OSU.

The 4 that will get in are (in my opinion) 1. Bama 2. Clemson 3. Notre Dame 4. Oklahoma

Notre Dame obviously will get in and deserve it going undefeated, but I find it hard to believe Georgia or OSU wouldn’t smack them. And I’m just not big on OU, but they’re fun to watch.

I’m thinking Brohm was taking the job. What wasn’t expected was Purdue throwing anymore money his way to make him stay. So I think Dakich was right in that Brohm was going to Louisville but wrong in the end because of the move by Purdue.

That’s a logical explanation. But one that also results in Dan Jockitch being wrong. Adding a couple clarifiers to his black and white statement would make it less rigid.

ESPN had 52 experts pick who they think should be in.

All of them had Alabama, Clemson and Notre Dame in some order, except one who has Georgia in over Notre Dame.

34 have Oklahoma in.

12 have Georgia in.

6 have UCF in.

1 has OSU in.
