HoosierRobbie Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 Yeah that was a selfish decision by Kelly Bryant. Put himself before the teamSo if your son had waited his turn to be the starter and went 16-2 as a starter and got benched, you would want him to stay and forget any shot he has at playing next level.. come on now.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app thebigweave 1 Quote
Hoosier Guy Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 Clemson takes the lead 27-23. Wow the RS Freshman QB with a 94 yard drive to put them ahead Quote

biteoftheapple Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 Purdue looked very poor on defense in that first drive. Quote

I would tell my son to work his butt off and let the chips fall where they may. When my nephew complains about basketball or baseball I tell him the same thing. KingPG21 Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 It is beyond nuts that people are suggesting it would be a good idea for Clemson to allow Bryant back. biteoftheapple 1 Quote

Sure, but there was no benefit to him to leave now, it was just throwing a tantrum. I'm sure he'll land someplace and do fine. I wouldn't want hjm on my team though, as team-mate or fan. Quote
Magnanimous Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 Scott Frost's task of breaking bad habits from a previous coaching regime is a bigger task than Archie had. Nebraska is terrible. Quote
Hoosier Guy Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 Yeah Scott Frost might already be on the hot seat haha. Nebraska is bad Quote

KingPG21 Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 I hope Nebraska is patient with Frost. Loved him at UCF, but that is a long rebuild IUsafety 1 Quote
KingPG21 Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 Also, this is probably the best slate of games so far this year. WVU-TT was great Clemson-Cuse (Cuse is probably consierably better than the polls give them credit for) UF-MSU OSU-PSU Stanford-ND LSU-Ole Miss Quote
KingPG21 Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 The end of this FSU-Louisville game is insane. Louisville up 24-21, trying to run clock, their tight end runs out of bounds, then on first down they throw the ball and an interception, then first down their next drive the QB just floats up in the pocket with no urgency until he takes a sack. He can't play another snap this year or else he loses that last year of eligibility. Had he stayed, would he have told the coach no thanks when he told him to go in for the injured QB today? That just creates unnecessary drama. I don't think it would've been beneficial to anyone if he waited until the end of the year to transfer. Quote

I've always believed in the concept that you join a team to be a part of something bigger than yourself. I understand that doesn't benefit the individual but that's not the concept of TEAM. TheWatShot Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Small rant: I was looking at college football scores and did a double take when I noticed Duke and Kentucky are ranked. Duke and Kentucky are ranked...in football. And we're struggling to beat Rutgers. IU football is on the rise! Rant over. Joe DeLow 1 Quote
