Not sure I understand this, as it's much, much easier to compete in the ACC Coastal than it is the SEC West, where you have to play Alabama and Auburn every year. But I guess $7 million a year is better than $5 million. http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/21631488/jimbo-fisher-leaving-florida-state-accept-coaching-job-texas-am Apparently his son has a rare blood disease and they travel to Houston regularly for treatment. A&M being close makes sense as to why it would be a preferable destination. Josh 1 Quote
Alford Bailey Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 Fulmer is the new AD at Tennessee. I kinda like Mike Leach just cause he is an odd duck but really Currie? Quote

Fulmer and others at Tennessee were sabotaging the coaching search (i.e. umpteen leaks) to get rid of Currie. This dumpster fire is gonna resemble the Springfield Tire Fire soon. http://thebiglead.com/2017/12/01/phillip-fulmer-orchestrated-a-coup-at-tennessee-so-whats-next-in-coaching-search/ IUsafety 1 Quote

Me So Hornsby Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 I mean I know they would probably get steam rolled, but this UCF team is so much fun and I wish they would get included in the playoff if they win today. Josh 1 Quote
Me So Hornsby Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 I really pity you if you are not watching this game Quote
LIHoosier Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 This'll be Scott Frost's last game at UCF. Going to his alma mater, Nebraska. Hoosier Guy 1 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 All the handwringing about should O$U or 'Bama be the 4th team - Osterman had the perfect suggestion: BEN DAVIS! Quote
LIHoosier Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 #4 is Bama. At least they kept their standards the same from last year. O$U 5, Wisky 6 Quote

TheWatShot Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 I think another factor was the semifinal matchup. Last year, Alabama-Clemson was a game for the ages. OSU-Clemson was 31-0. Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 I bet Clemson wishes they were the #2 seed, lol. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners IUsafety 1 Quote
Demo Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 Bama may be #4, maybe not. But I would have bet my house on them getting in. Their history, which should not matter, has, I believe, created a subconscious favorable bias for them. They get a mulligan nobody else gets. They don't have a good win all year, not 1. And I don't want to hear about LSU. Danny freaking Etling. They weren't picked over 1 Conference champ, they were picked over 2. A 2 loss Bama with a conference championship will get in every year. I also believe that if you flipped Bama's resume with Georgia's, Bama would have been seeded 1st and Georgia wouldn't have gotten in. I'm not saying it's intentional, I don't believe it is. I just believe it's conditioned. CR3AMnCR1MS0N and BtownBanner6 2 Quote
LIHoosier Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 Christ, Scott Frost couldn't get back to Nebraska fast enough. They're already having the press conference. Demo 1 Quote
