TheWatShot Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Syracuse's RPI of 71 is the worst ever for an at-large team. JaybobHoosier 1 Quote

yogisballin Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Syracuse's RPI of 71 is the worst ever for an at-large team. Absolute ludicrous!! I also think Oregon St at 19-12 was a Terrible pick as well Quote

AKHoosier Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Purdue Person Vitale actually has a point, and I'm about to head over to the Kentucky boards to see what they think. Kentucky and Texas A&M split the regular season conference championship. Kentucky wins the SEC tournament championship over A&M. Yet, A&M gets the 3 seed and Kentucky a 4? How does that work? Quote
Uspshoosier Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Coach cal coming up on ESPN. I'm sure they will ask him about that 2nd round matchup Quote
LIHoosier Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 MSU got all the big ten love Michigan did for being put in over Monmouth and/or St Mary's 8bucks 1 Quote

Feathery Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 you said conference tournaments were important i pointed out examples and now u changed it to losing early in the conference tournaments. Kentucky beats a&m in the finals but yet Kentucky gets a 4 and a&m gets a 3 Can you not see the difference of losing an opening game of a tournament to a bubble team and losing in a title game against a 1 seed? There is a difference and is shows the importance of the conference tourney. People are just being bitter right now. The issue is Tom Crean pissing down his leg and not using his timeouts to stop the Mich run. The UK IU is purely about $$$. If IU beats Michigan we are at least a 4 seed. IU makes the fina vs MSU and we are a 3 seed as a worst case. IU lost and left themselves exposed to the committee. theriverpilot, 8bucks, MikeRoberts and 2 others 5 Quote
VO5 Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 I'm so pissed off. This is the biggest joke of a bracket I've ever seen. yogisballin 1 Quote

Feathery Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Absolutely ridiculous job by the committee Just for the record, I never believed losing to Michigan didn't matter or that we didn't need to win. All I meant was that after the fact, it ain't worth going nuts over. We got screwed. But it wasn't just that single game like you guys think. For some reason the committee went away from KenPom this year The committee doesn't go by Kenpom, they use the RPI and have for years. Str8Hoosiers and MikeRoberts 2 Quote

BlueDevil Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 I think this is also a product of the parity. I think really after the 1 seeds and MSU every single team is just as equal as the rest. Quote
