All assuming higher seeds win to face us.i don't think we would be playing another big ten team in the second round. I say if we get a 3 seed we should expect an elite eight I don't believe any of the 2 seeds are any better then us. If you asked me (and probably a majority of fans) before the season started whether or not I'd be happy with a B1G championship and an Elite 8 appearance from this team, I would have said yes. The inconsistency that reared its head against Michigan yesterday will determine if it can actually reach the Elite 8 or will flame out early in the Big Dance. Quote

bleedhoosier Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Keeping my patient hat on, if we hit sweet 16 (take out UK), I'm satisfied (for now) and want Crean to stay. That still is program progress. 3 sweet 16's and 2 conference titles in the last 4 years is a fairly big deal to our "resurgence" as a blue blood program. I could easily see us losing in the first round unfortunately... and the 2nd round won't be any easier... if we make it to the 16 then we probably have to play UNC... which I don't think would be too fun because I don't know who would guard Brice Johnson. Now the Elite 8 everyone wants.... that'd probably be Xavier or West Virginia.... s sweet 16 would be nice. It'll be an uphill battle. Quote
