From the time that someone here posted the story about Max asking a kid at the basketball camp for the kid's autograph, I have thought this guy was awesome!  He was the grounding unit to the team.  Wish we had him for more years.  He became one of my favorites quickly!  Thank you Max!

I am sure glad you chose to become a Hoosier. You have contributed to countless wins and most importantly your leadership has been incredible.  You've got 2 Big Ten titles but this last one with the Hoosiers has been so memorable.  We will miss those calves holding down the paint---and hope you help us make a Final 4 run just like you did Michigan a few years back. You are the epitome of the phrase--"student athlete".  You have represented IU so well.  Thanks for the memories!
