By the time RP arrives on campus, he's going to be at least 6'5".  I'm not mocking you, it's just that very early on, I think the word was he was only 5'10" and now we're up to maybe 6'2".  It's all just a part of the process and it's humorous.  Nothing more than that.

Haha no worries. It was just a rough estimate on my part from a quick eyeballing, but if he's shorter than 6' when he gets here I would honestly be surprised.

Meh, do they really though? Is ESPN providing them with something Scout or any other recruiting service can't?

On a college and professional level yes they are. All SEC games are on ESPN, plus NBA is on ESPN part of the time. That what I meant when I said they needed them

This is such a ridiculous statement. If Romeo was a done deal to Vandy why wouldn't he just commit right after Garland. Why wait till the Spring? People on this board get so negative when things don't go our way. Romeo is still very much in play for us.

But the Garlands don't and that was my original statement. Any recruit doesn't need ESPN. I am sure there will be some leery kids do what Garland did. SEC and NBA? Sure they do.

The best part about this thread wasn't the emotions out of some posters. You see that in most recruitments.

This thread gave us a new term. "Fact based opinions". The ones who assured us Darius was a lock based upon fact based opinions and discredited anybody who said he was going to Vanderbilt as trolls....that was the goods. Thanks all lol.

I like optimism but hopefully we can stop with the statements like "we have this one in the bag" and "he's ours" until we actually secure a  commitment from a recruit. Also, saying well this one poster thinks we are going to get him so we are definitely getting him. With that said, I really hope we get Romeo. This program needs a game changer bad not just for the roster but for public perception!

Well his dad just announced he was commiting in the spring so that's all we have to go off of. Nothing would surprise me though.

I could see him committing in the next two days, or two years. But I could also see him foregoing basketball for baseball.

These statements are all sort of worthless, especially when you continually repeat them.

Anderson is a good shooter? Serious question; I've never seen him play.

Yes indeed.

"The biggest thing that stands out about Anderson on the offensive end is his shooting ability. When he gets his feet set and shoulders square, he is an elite outside shooter with unlimited range because of his strength. Anderson flicks his wrist and has great rotation on the ball. When he is squared up, his shot is rarely off to the left or right."
