Popular Post Me So Hornsby Posted November 2, 2017 Popular Post Posted November 2, 2017 Jerry is in Nashville. If he isn’t hearing what they are, I think it means these guys are going with their gut or guessing. Everyone relax. woodenshoemanHoosierfan Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 I can live with getting just Romeo. He is an incredible talent and should help us land more instate recruits in the future.I really want Romeo and think we get him, but I can live without him if he chooses someone else. Archie still has a very good first class. Sent from my SM-G930V using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

(OR until Chris007 says it's over) #InArchWeTrust No one has changed anything I was told and believe me I have asked. The staff still feels very confident that we will get DG. I believe that Evan Daniels is correct I don't think Darius has made a decision yet. I think they will sit down and decide as a family. When it's time I put a lot of stock in what Winston Garland says and thinks. I think he wants DG in Bloomington. He might want to stay close to home but Nashville to Bloomington is only like 4 hours. I won't be surprised if he picks Vandy but I still think IU gets him in the end. Also as I said a few days ago people need to relax. Darius might change his mind 3 or 4 more times before signing day. thebigweave, Class of '66 Old Fart, 323SGrant and 16 others 19 Quote
darB s'tI Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Is Archie going to visit DG one more time? Can't remember if I read that or not. Quote
Hoosier Guy Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 I believe in Chris and Yogi. But most importantly, I believe in Archie. Just hang tight guys. The cavalry is coming CR3AMnCR1MS0N, Iugradman and ebridges24 3 Quote

TXHoosierDaddy Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 It's pretty easy to see what's happening. Jerry Meyer picks IU and the sheep on 247 switch their picks to IU. Slater comes out with Vandy and more sheep switch to Vandy. Therefore, the CB %'s don't really matter. Interesting tidbit i picked up is that Slater was correct on his picks most often usually a day or two before the recruit actually announces. I didn't check Jerry's but I am sure it is similar. That's very telling especially with all the talk out there that DG is truly on fence and that it may be almost another two weeks before he decides. A lot can happen between now and then. Popular Post KYHoosier Posted November 2, 2017 Popular Post Posted November 2, 2017 Everyone needs to pump the breaks. Archie Miller didn't come this far, to only come this far. I truly believe that Archie is letting Vandy lay all their cards on the table before he comes in to seal the deal. He and the staff will come up with something creative to impress the Garland's when they visit, just like he did at HH. Vandy is selling DG on the idea of "what-could-be" if he stayed home, but DG and his family experienced the power of Hoosier Nation first hand at HH and aren't being sold on an "idea". Nothing Coach Drew can say will have an impact that walking across that floor did for the Garlands (put a tear in Mrs. Garland's eye or let dad live out a childhood dream of his). To me, the most telling thing in this whole recruitment is the words Winston Garland has said about IU that he hasn't said about the other schools pursuing DG. He will play a huge role in this decision. I think DG deep down he knows where he wants to go but hasn't worked up the courage to tell Vandy, the home school, no. It is a lot of pressure for a 18 year old kid, but in the end, I think IU checks off too many boxes Vandy can't, and Darius will be a Hoosier. thebigweave, ElectricBoogaloo, Hoosier Guy and 9 others 12 Quote
