The reason Archie wasn’t at his game was because he knew he’d be able to watch Romeo on Saturday. He wanted to go see TJD since he had an opening

What exactly is your problem? I’ve been mellow since that last recruitment. I don’t think it’s a done deal with Romeo by any means. But I still have a hard time believing he picks Vanderbilt over IU. Better chance now than before? Yes. But in the end, I think the power of IU and what it would mean will win out. We’ll see

Louisville just fired Kenny Johnson and finally got rid of Brian Bowen. Romeo does not seem like the type to be bought but I guess a lot of them don't. He is also considering Kansas who is incredibly dirty.

Yep, go hard after TJD and Brooks. We will have more time to build relationships with them and TJD is already very comfortable with Archie and the staff right now. We did land a couple of good instate players in the 2018 class.

It just wasnt meant to be in 2018 for 5 stars but we must land them in 2019 if we want to get things moving. 2019 is the year the kids need to quit leaving indiana.

I don't see anyway he doesn't pick vandy and pick them soon. At least it would be over with and we could go all in on 2019 instead of this dragging on for four months and the staff putting in a tremendous amount of effort on romeo. I am sure Archie will still go hard but he has to know we are not the leader. Maybe we never were.

Well it's pretty obvious. NC was not willing to pony up with what he was demanding. If they had he would of picked them. NC dodged one scandal so I assume they will try and go legit until the smoke clears.

Don’t ever change BTown Banners posters, never change. Lol. Working a long day and coming on here during a break was the entertainment I needed on this day before a holiday. What kind of message would that send to future Indiana kids if CAM stopped recruiting them when IU is in their final 3? Some want to move on to 2019. You as a fan can and maybe some on here honestly should move on but the Indiana coach isn’t going to stop recruiting a player because some other top 10 kid picked a school in which IU wasn’t even involved with. Romeo’s recruitment is pretty simple at this point. He has 3 choices all of which have there advantages and disadvantages. I personally think it will be IU when it’s all said and done but if it isn’t I will continue to follow an Indiana kid’s career. He has done everything to make his family, school and state proud of what he has done so far. Whoever gets him his getting someone special. If you are able I encourage you to watch this kid play live regardless if u think he is going to IU or not

Great post USPS. I agree with the last line 100 percent. Seeing him twice already this year and last night felt just as awesome as the first time I seen him against McCutcheon. Whether we get him or not I am glad Archie got us in the mix. Andrew Slater just picked Vandy so they may have the upper hand at the moment, but it isn't over. If you can't follow his recruitment with class and constantly freaking out anytime news comes out about KU or Vandy I would recommend not following anymore.

The crystal balls all started going to Vandy in the two weeks before Garland’s announcement. The same thing is happening here. Hopefully we don’t have to go up against Drew anymore in recruiting battles.
Jesus, it’s one thing to lose a kid from Nashville to Vandy. It is entirely another to lose an instate recruit to that ******* school.

It will be 95% vandy within a week. Very predictable.

We're not getting Romeo but it could be much, much worse.  Surfboard Fred nearly gave Crean another year and if that had happened Archie would be now locked into a long term deal with O$U and our 2018 recruiting class would probably be filled with more Prillers.
