Biggest decision of his life?  An 8 month decision it is?  There is nothing he has to learn by waiting.  Nothing.
Gordon committed right away didn't he?  He didn't need to wait to see how Sampson would coach.  Romeo is waiting for a reason and it isn't good for IU.

My question is your basically saying guys on peegs, etc who say iu is in great shape are delusional and smoking dope? Thats essentially what you are saying.

I watched the New Albany game yesterday and I think the fit at IU for Romeo is glaring. We're lacking shooting and scoring. That go-to guy. I think we will have a lot of the complimentary pieces next year and I could see a big up tick for IU if Romeo comes to IU. (Final four potential)

With that said, I'll be fine and so will IU basketball if he goes somewhere else.

Coach Miller is building a good base.

We need to look at programs like Villanova and Virginia to find our blue print. (Not Duke and Kentucky)

You watch Coach Miller and you get someone that gets basketball. Does he make mistakes, yes, but I'm liking the way he's leading this group. We have some talent, but we don't have a good make up of a team. We're missing critical pieces. (Post depth. Guard leadership)

From what I've seen, I think Josh Newkirk is a great young man, but you can't build a winning team with him at the point.

Durham - I really like this kid, but he should be playing about 3-5 min a game this year.

Johnson - He's starting to play better and if we do anything the remainder of the year it will be based a lot off his play. But,,, he's not a leader.

Green - By year 4. His skill will reach the level that's needed to play with his lack of discipline or he will gain some basketball IQ. I think Coach Miller has been trying to reign in some of Green's play, but it's hard with that type of player.

Another 30 pts. for Romeo tonight in New Albany's win over Evansville Reitz.  He's now at 2,513 career points in 7th place.

Langford, who was 13 for 20 from the field and 2 of 2 from the free throw line, also grabbed a game-high 16 rebounds.

That is certainly possible as well. It just seems that Vandy is getting more talk at the moment.

A lot of talk in a recruitment that the player and family keep it close to vest. Talk in these type of recruitments mean very little in my opinion. Clemson was getting all the talk for the last month. Talk turned out to be worthless

True....but Vanderbilt is 7-12 and in last place in the SEC.  If he is waiting for a reason not to go to Vandy, it's right in front of him.

It's also worth mentioning that they are 7-12 and three of their four double figure scorers are seniors.  The other is a point guard.  They certainly would be bringing in three studs if Romeo commits, but there is going to be nothing much around them.  Not sure three freshman studs and nothing else amounts to much.

He isn't winning a title at IU or vandy, period, unless he stays 2 years at IU and then maybe would compete. Kansas is always a contender but finds a way to crap the bed every year. He didn't pick this final 3 because he wanted to win a title. If a title was high on his list he would look elsewhere.

UNC or Duke. Proximity and a potential pay seem to be the factors.

Theres no way Kansas hasnt offered him something in my mind and probably vanderbilt.

But heres the thing the right college choice could add millions to his first endorsement deal. the only chance we have in thise sleaze.
