The fallout from that obviously has led to us having a chance here, but that whole thing set his process back a ton. I don’t think he’s doing in for attention, I think he is doing it because was trying to do the whole recruiting circus in the middle of school and regular season ball vs the summer before his senior year like most kids Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners I just disagree. Ryan Taylor decides in a couple of weeks but Romeo can't decide in 6 months? Quote

rcbowla Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 I've seen many people on fan pages complaining that it's taking him too long to decide, and I can't help but notice most of them are women. I guess no one ever said women were patient.Women make quick decisions. They also change their minds 3 times before opening the front door. They may not realize that Romeo does not have that luxury. Well..... Not really anyhowSent from my Pixel XL using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

No offense intended to Ryan Taylor but isn't he on his 3rd school now in 4 years? Taking a little more time to decide might have been beneficial for him however, it is doubtful anyone was going to be holding a scholarship open for him like they would for Romeo. Romeo, or anyone of his level that is guaranteed to have a scholarship whenever they decide, would be foolish to announce the decision any earlier than they have to. rebelhoosier848891 Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Bailey 7878—-Matt Mooney is a University of South Dakota guard that is a graduate transfer (18.7 points per game) with Sheehey and Coverdale-like swagger who is originally from the Chicago area. Not the best athlete but a solid and tough/hard nosed guard. Unless an elite grad transfer big is an option —I prefer we add 2 guards. We need to improve our perimeter shooting. Give me Romeo and Mooney and let’s call it a class. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners chicagoHOOSIER, Iugradman and cappymo14 3 Quote

VO5 Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Just now, Schreckbagger said: I can't say I know anyone who searched channels looking for Wilkes at UCLA, Guy at VA, etc. Shawn Kemp lived within 5 miles and most could have cared less, even some who played with him. In Indiana basketball, once you divorce the state, you become the outlaw never invited back to the family reunion. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using BtownBanners mobile app I’d like to believe that with Langford, but I really think this is different than those guys Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 He has some connections. Sounds like it could be bigger than a Romeo commit. Maybe the east rumor?By east rumor—are you referring to the other New Albany guard—Sean East? I’ve been watching this too as he is a good player in his own right. 18.2 points per game with 49 percent 3-point shooting and 83 percent from the line. He was recently the MVP of the East team in an Indiana all star tourney in which he averaged 18.5 per game. He would be a great preferred walk-on for IU but I am hearing other D1 schools are finally starting to look at him. Another one to watch—possible package deal with Romeo?Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app chicagoHOOSIER 1 Quote
