I find the whole Vandy crew to be obnoxious ever since Garland committed. I thought Garland led the media and IU on. And I feel the coaching staff at Vandy are just giant trolls. They are acting like they will be this future blue blood. It's not going to happen. At this point I really want this whole recruitment and the drama over. I feel like Colts GM Chris Ballard. "Are you in or you out"? We will be fine regardless.

It's an awfully arrogant group for such a trash program. Drew will never have another class like this again. His coaching will be exposed and I would not be surprised if he leaves vandy a mess and on probation.

The Vandy trolls on the Rivals board sound very confident about getting Romeo.

Package deals rarely happen yet the AD may get two top ten guys to follow him to a horrid program. Nothing to see here.

His coaching was exposed the last 2 minutes of the Kentucky game. Just terrible all around. How could you want to play for that guy/program?

Garland is literally begging Romeo to come there because he realizes what an awful decision he made. Amazing that a guy like that wouldn't look at the track record of coach Miller or even a guy like Chris Holtman at OSU? I guess guys like them are just too clean?

He knows without Romeo they won't be that good. Other than playing with a buddy there really is no upside for Romeo. They may be on tv a few more times but nobody follows vandy. It's not like duke or iu where you get a big draw playing in a tourney away from home.

If Vandy is already oversigned for Romeo, how in the hell are they going to add EJ Montgomery, too?

Here's another kid they're trying to reclassify to 2018. Blake Hinson (6'7" 230lbs PF from Bel Aire, KS) is currently ranked 134 in 247 Composite.

Further evidence to the theory that Garland has been a mole for Drewfus from day 1. They both knew all along he was hometown Vandy-bound and has been recruiting for them ever since.

If Garland truly wanted to play with Romeo that badly, he would've waited a little longer and gotten a better feel on Romeo's recruitment before committing to Bland-erbilt.

I also think even if Romeo was leaning toward Vandy he still wasn't 100 percent. He actually wanted to take his time and evaluate. If he was sure he would have committed rather than play games with people. And I can't image him or his family would like Darius and the Vanderbilt staff saying he's going to Vandy while he's taking his time. Assuming all those rumors are true I would think it would hurt Vandys chances.

I kind of fear him announcing at the McDonald's game. If only because it may be awkward to announce IU with Garland there. But if it's Vandy won't be so awkward. If he decided to wait this could only favor IU.

I don’t think Romeo announcing at the AA game is bad for IU.  Romeo is his own man and I would hope that he doesn’t care about hurting someone’s feelings when it comes to this situation.

If it's IU it will be announced at the New Albany gym.  You can bank that.

I don't fear the AA game, only because it was on record as that being a possibility before his decision was made (allegedly). Doesn't seem like his recruitment depended upon Darius Garland.
