Vandy is garbage with a garbage coach. They are oversigned and are a Nike school and he plays Adidas AAU. Garland would be the only reason and to me it's not the deciding factor it's made out to be. He may still go to Vandy. But I feel like one has to do tremendous mental gymnastics to justify them over his other offers.

Even if vandy had Romeo I still don't think the would be more than a 20 win team. You still need a good coach and they don't have one.

I’m usually a negative Nancy when it comes to recruiting but I’m starting to feel pretty good about Romeo coming to IU. I just don’t see him going to a horrible team and coach at Vandy. And at Kansas he won’t be able to shine like he could at IU

I also expect a transfer which hopefully isn't Clifton Moore. I say we add Romeo & McRoberts keeps playing without a scholly sadly and we take the best possible grad transfer regardless of position in the off-season. We need talented and experienced players at every position. Now let's go get Romeo and worry about the other spot later.

That's not even mentioning Race Thompson. The talent level is possibly really different this time next year.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Mcroberts not take the Scholarship to give it to someone else. But, yes he should at least be offered.

I don't know if they've officially confirmed it, but Tim Langford alluded to an announcement at McDonald's All American Game in a recent article. 3/28 I believe.

We're 13-12 and 7th in the conference right now, with a favorable schedule the rest of the way. Vandy is 8-15 and last in the SEC. I'm not worried about our season turning Romeo off of IU. Frankly, I think the season has shown him how much he would help IU. That, along with all the love he's been getting across the state at his games, is making me start to believe that he really is going to come here.

Im sure they have. Romeo has been talking about geography being a factor since the 8th grade.
