Just going to say this, and this is only logical. Romeo won't go to Kansas if they have 4 or 5 great guards that he would have to split minutes with. That takes away from his draft stock and lose him a lot of $$ and that's actually the ultimate goal. Kansas is appealing, but being a guard fighting for a start, is not. Yes, I know Romeo is a supreme talent, but with the upperclassmen guards Kansas produces, he would likely not start right away. I think it's down to Indiana and Vandy.

Finally someone else on here that agrees with me on this.

That twitter account also tweeted this the morning of Darius' announcement. More than anyone else knew at the time... Also, Jerry Meyer follows them and everyone seem to take his word as the truth.

Then if there is any truth to those tweets Romeo will commit to iu shortly and we can all get back to discussing our team. Hopefully they are right but I'm not biting like I did with garland.

I hear what you’re saying, and I don’t know where Langford stands on this individually, but overall this is a bit of an old school mentality. When LeBron “took his talents” to South Beach to join his friends, it really had a trickle down effect on basketball.

These kids go to school for one season and are more concerned with joining other great players to make a run and get that March Madness marketing exposure. That’s why last night I think the stat I heard was that between Duke, MSU, Kansas and UK there was 15 players from last years ESPN top 60.

The top of the top kids know they’re going to the NBA regardless, they want to be on the top team, be on TV all the time and get as much exposure as possible. It’s a trickle down on the NBA “Super Team”.

And with the possibility of JM and DG not playing scares the crisp out of me. I'll be there rooting them on. At this point I'd be happy if they just showed toughness.

Some good news, per Adam Finkelstein Simsolu Shittu will not be making a announcement today. Will be a Spring guy. Expect him to take more visits.
Was he suppose to be picking vandy today?
