Quit with the facts

I think we feel better because we see things get updated and assume that means we are fresh and must be amongst the best. Maybe in the BT but I was surprised to hear that the coaches think we have a ways to go still.

UNC is apparently starting to recruit uncommitted top 100 6'6" SF/wing Terrence Shannon.

Have to see that as a positive development for IU regarding Keion Brooks.

Chapel Hill, North Carolina

  • Taking all the visits he said he would.
  • Roy wants Keion, but has Shannon in the mix as a combo "Keion motivator" and plan ''B'

Does that seem about right pap?

Keion's new school LaLumiere has canceled it's next Tuesday game with SPIRE Institute and its new enrollee LaMelo Ball because he played professionally, albeit in Lithuania..

Feel like if we can beat duke it'll only help our chances of landing brooks and tjd

I can’t imagine that individual game holding that much weight but it, along with beating Marquette and Arkansas would make us a top 5/10 team and amplify the hype and talk around our program

I think less than 0.0000001% of their decisions will be based on how we do against Dook.

With Duke looking like an NBA team this year (in terms of pure athleticism and skill) more than any year I can recall, the percentage of Indiana beating Duke on their own court is...well, I'll just say it's at least better than the percentage you gave that their decisions are based on such a win.  I hate to even say it, but Duke is scarier than ever this year...in my opinion.  It would be incredible to see Indiana knock off Duke early.  They were good last year and Indiana gave them a good test.  Anything is possible.

And, yes, I saw them struggle to shake off Army.  After a destruction of #2 Kentucky, along with their youth, I think the fact they did scares me as much as the win against UK.  Duke seems to know how to pull away when the game is a contest.  Unfortunately, I believe the contests won't be as often as I hope.  Yes, they will likely lose this season (hopefully against Indiana), but by the time March comes around it will be very hard to bet against that team.

Ugh...I hate that this seems so real in my head as I type it.  I would love to see Duke have at least a few losing seasons and become a dark horse again.

Okay, I feel slightly better after re-watching the Romeo Langford vs Zion Williamson YouTube videos.
