I saw great things in OG early on and yelled from the mountain top about them! I am very happy he is playing how I thought he would! I recall some super genius some where cutting him down for lack of upper body strength.....what a joke! Great that OG is proving the haters WRONG! OG is a great piece to this TEAM.

OG reminds me of an NBA superstar.....

currently in the MVP race.....

and no it's not curry.

OG just does all the right things. I hope Troy enjoys playing another year while OG signs a contract this summer (kidding, but who knows at this point [emoji23])

I think that strength coach has them working chest and shoulders during the season too which might be helping.

Do yourself a favor and look at pictures of him 9-12 months ago and look at him now.   College kids do use the weight room and strength coaches, you know.  Kind of a new thing, but surely you've heard about it.  He wasn't ready to play big minutes when he got to campus and he wasn't ready at the start of the season.   Which is why he didn't.  He played 3 minutes here, 6 minutes there, 4 minutes there..  If he would have been ready, Crean would have yelled at you up on that mountain top, thanking you for seeing what he obviously couldn't.

What "haters," by the way?  I don't recall any "hate."   I recall lots of people comparing him to this player or that player, and a few comments (including mine) which said let him develop; and the folks in the know said he had a college ready lower body but not yet a college ready upper body, and that was absolutely accurate at the time.   So things evolve, he develops more and more; and all of a sudden, you're a soothsayer.  Congratulations.  But where were you in November?   It's pretty easy to say "See!  I told you so!" 9 months after the fact.  I'll even help you with the pictures.  You can tell me what you notice.

Agreed. I remember watching him at the holloween thing. Definitely been hitting weights hard. I do think he snuck up on the coaching staff, same as he did with many fans. Earning minutes as he continued to surprise.

While we're shouting out frosh, Morgan's been pretty good too, as has that Bryant guy. Just hope we can hang on to all of them until they go pro, would really hate to see Morgan transfer to get more playing time, which could happen if Troy doesn't go pro. Frankly it's getting to the point I'd rather see OG or Morgan on the floor than Troy.

Who? I've been trying to think of it and it's killing me. Kawhi?

Beat me to it, very impressed with Morgan last night too. I love his effort on defense the most.
