So, my son has an interesting theory about the state of the Wisconsin program. It's so bizarre, there could be some truth to it....
After their win over MSU, he says "I think the Badgers are way better than people think". "Bo leaves after a handful of poorly played games, handing the team over to his assistant, claiming that he wanted Guard to get time as the interim head coach right?" "Well what if he had the team intentionally playing possum early on, so that Guard takes over, and all of a sudden, the Badgers go on a "miracle" run down the stretch, making Guard look like the hero who saved the season? "That then forces UW to sign Guard as the permanent head coach, which is what Bo wanted all along."

No fire there, but there is some smoke. I wouldn't put it past that old bastard. Either way, don't look past this team. They are better than anyone thinks.

I don't think any team under any circumstance is going to actually play opossum.

Ready for the game.  I have us losing, but this could go either way.  Our road play has been bad, and we will end up losing if that continues.  If the home IU team comes to play, then IU wins by 10.  Either way, I just want to see how the team plays on the road.  Would love a win, just want to see improvement on the road.

Come on man, hop on the conspiracy train! Weather is warm, drinks are cold and the girls all have fake boobs and brains. Anyway, I think if you stop Hays, their O. Can't keep up. Hays is the key. Who guards him? Troy? Hartman? I say O.G. but I'm not sure on that either.

Why not all three? Whoever has the freshest legs go get it on D. If someone has him on lock down, stick with it. But other than that just fresh bodies to wear him down.

This seems to be what we did in the first matchup.  Hartman started on him, picked up fouls.  OG and JMor both got time on him and made some good plays.  Koening also has some offensive game.  He always seems to drain those heavily contested threes.

[quote name="MartintheMopMan" post="235573" timestamp="1453581586"]One down and onto the next. Let's keep this streak going and show we aren't afraid of the Kohl Center anymore.

I hate Wisconsin more than anyone and I want to embarrass them.

Ummmm, I don't think so....I live and work in Madison, Wi. Trust me, I hate them wayyyy, way more.

I think I meant I hate them more than any other team. At least, that's another true interpretation of my statement.

I hate that they just have our number. I hate traveling to the Kohl Center for 17 years without a win. I hate them. Our last time beating them before this year is my avatar for a reason. I can tolerate fans of any other team, including our sad little brothers, but I cannot abide a badger.

Well I'm sure there will still be posts like the schedule and wait until @michigan before believing in this team. Of course that will be then continued onto Iowa and such.

Wisconsin has been playing a little better. Think someone noted they beat MSU a week ago. If they win tomorrow, I'll hop on the "we may have something here" train.

Their 4 B1G losses have been by a total of 15 points.  They're right there in games until the end.  I'm just not sure of the theory because they're on the outside looking in for the NCAAT.  They would have to do a lot to make the tourney.

Game Day Hoosiers!  Fire Up!

We've seen the facts---we have not won at the Kohl Center since 1998. They have beaten us there 13 times in a row. The last time we won there Yogi was 4 years old and Bryant was 5 months old.

But --Bo Ryan is gone.  It's time to break the curse and the string.  No Mercy---we're after that Big Ten Title!

This team seems really locked in. I'm going with the Hoosiers tonight. We have played a weak schedule at this point but there is something to be said about winning games that you're supposed to win. We are 7-0 in the B1G. The Indiana squad from 2 years ago up until this years team early in the year would have found a way to lose 1 or 2 of those 7. Defense travels and there is no B1G team playing better on that end of the floor than our Hoosiers. I like us +5.... If we treat Wisconsin like we have the past 2 teams, we are far more legit than I thought.

Not finding much on the Badger forum pre-game.

They referred to TW as "Mr. Ed".  They must dislike TW in Badger land.

I hope that Troy puts a beat down on them! :nono:

The one I looked at they're all brimming with confidence and sure the team has turned it around and they're going to be the ones to start our late season slide.

I hate them.

Teddy V is... wait are refs "on the call" too? I mean, they don't call the game but they call the fouls.

What's the equivalent phrase for refs to saying "Dakich is on the call tonight"?

Teddy V is rocking the stripes tonight.

And is that true? We're fudged.
