At least this starting 5 would play hard I think personal :) Coach wouldn't be keeping his promise to Yogi to be a starter. Wait, coach doesn't do that to get recruits... I like it but it would never happen. Quote
OliviaPope40 Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Niego seriously not going to happen. Quote
Hoosiers High Life Posted November 26, 2015 Author Posted November 26, 2015 I know it's not gonna happen but it should to get to our players. We play like we could care less!!! Why not start this kids? They don't have to play a lot just enough to get into our starters heads maybe they'll start caring!! Quote
Alford Bailey Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Wouldn't make a difference. Not like we run an offense. Players have to beat their man off the dribble to score or draw a defender and kick to the open guy. Our subs can't do that for the most part. Kepner 1 Quote
Hoosiers High Life Posted November 26, 2015 Author Posted November 26, 2015 Maybe Crean could be a coach for once and mix it up get into some kids heads and make a difference but that will not happen because he don't have a sack...... Sorry mods if that is not allowed Quote
Hoosiers High Life Posted November 26, 2015 Author Posted November 26, 2015 Not gonna happen. Couldn't get much worse Quote
Hoosiers High Life Posted November 26, 2015 Author Posted November 26, 2015 I mean honestly better to lose a game now trying to save our season than let this go on Quote
gazelle1 Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Start Collin and Zeisloft. There's at least some energy on defense there. Hoosiers High Life and coonhounds 2 Quote
coonhounds Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 I normally would say run them or make them swim back but I now realize it isn't there fault they haven't got a clue what to do. We don't need a lineup change that works when you have well schooled kids who know what there doing but aren't trying so you prove a point to refocus them. Won't work if there trying but haven't been taught how to play right barrettballer, Alford Bailey and pops52yo 3 Quote
OliviaPope40 Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 I like Collin, Max, and Nick they're about the only ones of the starting group who play. I'm not trying to say that there aren't more I'm only mentioning the ones who start sometimes. Hoosiers High Life 1 Quote
MikeRoberts Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Hartman and Ziesloft aren't great defenders either. We really don't have any Quote
KingPG21 Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Yeah lets start Collin who really hasn't done anything well this year.... Walking Boot of Doom 1 Quote
Never Daunted Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 I know it's not gonna happen but it should to get to our players. We play like we could care less!!! Why not start this kids? They don't have to play a lot just enough to get into our starters heads maybe they'll start caring!! Chicken or the egg though? I feel bad for these kids. Bad coaching leading to not caring or not caring and it's impossible to coach? Combination of both but I think it starts with the coaching. Edit: Also, sorry for not keeping exaaaactly up with the topic of discussion I just wanted to comment there. I'm acknowledging it so its all good right?? Quote
Alford Bailey Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Niegro Burton Priller Taylor Lets just play with these 4 til Fuchs gets back from football. I think this group could really show some "resolve" against some "really good 20 game winners" like Alcorn St. and Kennesaw St. Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 What I have seen through the first 6 games Yogi Ferrell - cancer Troy Williams - cancer James Blackmon Jr - canceri don't disagree with the notion but the connotation reads very harshly. I don't like the cancer metaphor in sports. Sorry, but I get your point. The team is lost right now. Lacking set plays, lacking a true go to guy that is trusted. Defense isn't even close. No one is buying in. They are trying to randomly set picks to create offense. No sets. And...a bad rebounding team. BlueDevil and Hutch89 2 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 At this point I don't care who we play. We stink with our "starters". We stink worse with our reserves. I fear many of these guys aren't returning next year anyway. Quote
