(2016) PF De'Ron Davis to IU

Recommended Posts

Just checked and crystal ball predictions are 12-2 in favor of IU with the 2 being for Mississippi State. Most important--Jerry Meyer who I find to be the most accurate predictor is still sticking with us. Go Hoosiers!

looking at his predictions for the 2016 class he is 96 out of 139(69%). the classes before he was in the low 70's at being right

Gist of the interview...

Fisher believes IU has the slight edge. Unsure if DD has made up his mind at this point.

Keep in mind DD's AAU coaches are where Howland's connections are, so they may paint another picture.

Seems to be some pro-IU talk this morning, haven't heard much indicating MSU lately. Still a long 24+ hours until a decision but I'm becoming slightly more optimistic.

Hoping Kegler's decision today has no effect on DD's. If it does, we're in trouble.

Eric Bossi thinks we still get De'Ron, but even if he changes his pick between now and Davis' announcement time, don't be too alarmed.

Just yesterday, he predicted South Carolina for Seventh Woods, because he heard the allure of playing close to home and the threat of pending sanctions at UNC would be too much to overcome.

Lo and behold, Woods popped for North Carolina today.

What about the post are you liking Pap? That D'Ron is still favoring IU? That De'Ron could change his mind? That Bossi could change his mind? That Bossi is wrong?

It just depends who you talk to in some recruitments. Some said UNC, some said USC. Bossi thought the "stronger", (not sure reliable is the word) source(s) were saying USC. He judged that wrong apparently.

I could tell you what I've heard, but this is one of those recruitments...I'm starting to believe his HS coach saying he is still deciding is true. I think there is more positive IU talk than MSU, for 3 years and still tonight, so I'd put my money there. But some AAU stuff for MSU makes it a bit murkier.
