WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Honestly though, what is it going to take for this team to field even an average defense? Changing DCs doesn't seem to do it. Decades of recruiting hasn't seemed to do it. Is there like a literal curse?decades of recruiting average defensive players is likely to yield decades of average or worse defenses. Our D is slightly better this year than it has been recently. Our O is slightly weaker though. Quote

HoosierReb01 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 The season mirrors most others though really. Not sure I'd quite go there. I've seen too many IU teams that just gave up and went through the motions. These guys may get beat, but at least they don't give up. Parakeet Jones and Naturalhoosier 2 Quote
Dalton26 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Our offense aside from Howard was absolutely pathetic today. WayneFleekHoosier and JaybobHoosier 2 Quote
Double Down Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 The FSU/Clemson game is a good one. Big Playoff implications down in the swamp. The FSU tomahawk chop might be the most irritating chant in sports. Not for racial reasons, just for "its dumb" reasons. mamasa and LIHoosier 2 Quote
MartintheMopMan Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 That's game guys. Good first half. Pathetic second half. Who could have guessed? Quote
JSHoosier Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Why do we keep going deep to the shortest player on the field? I mean at least this one wasn't in triple coverage but still. Quote
Alford Bailey Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 70-3 in the fourth quarter of the last four games. WOW! Hard to go bowling with that. Double Down 1 Quote

TheWatShot Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 WOW! Hard to go bowling with that. It's why I laugh when people try to argue about how far we've come in the last five years. Alford Bailey 1 Quote

Picture this- you roll into your stupidly wealthy uncle's house, proudly wearing IU gear. His kids are FSU grads (not him, just your obnoxious cousins). He says "Come outside, I want to show you this". You oblige, thinking it may be a great cigar or vintage wine. Nope, it's a customized FSU van specifically for going to FSU games. The most annoying part of the whole thing? The horn plays the FSU tomahawk chant. Yep, true story! Double Down 1 Quote

Heh. With Jane Fonda sitting in the front row chopping with her foam axe. Someone should have sprayed her with Foam Axe. LIHoosier 1 Quote
