OliviaPope40 Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 (edited) If it isn't the basketball team then start with the football team. This weekend is big. Edited September 30, 2015 by OliviaPope40 Quote
MartintheMopMan Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 I thought it was Austin King? Well Zander has what it takes to get off blocks and get after the qb! I expect at least 3 sacks from him. He's scrappy. A real gym rat. High football iq. ALASKA HOOSIER, The Ola Depot and ThompsonHoosier 3 Quote

BabyJandJDaddy Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Remember that recruiting class that got everyone so stoked? Kenney? Allan? Latham? Williams? Seems like a long time ago now. Really hoping the team gives a strong showing this Saturday. Quote
djsalway Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Did David Kenney leave because of grades? No one knows. Took a personal leave at one point and never came back. mamasa and Napleshoosier 2 Quote
jmsgws Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 At some point these kids have got to get a clue. I don't know what it is going to take, though. JaybobHoosier and mdn82 2 Quote
Hoosierfan2017 Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 I lived on the same floor as both Kenney and Latham freshman year... Sad to see that it looks like nothing has changed at all for Latham, this doesn't really surprise me. Prilla the Thrilla 1 Quote
Stuhoo Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 At some point these kids have got to get a clue. I don't know what it is going to take, though. Too broad. Some kids are raised to "get it", and have very little potential for problems. Some kids are an accident waiting to happen. Kids like Latham arrive at IU in a state of "likely to get dismissed", and apparently he has met his likely fate. mamasa, Class of '66 Old Fart, Naturalhoosier and 1 other 4 Quote

iubirdman Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Part of me thinks this may be what the first suspension was about as well. Suspend for the opener due to suspicion/reports of something. With the issues that were going on at the time, have to take a stand, even if proven false. Returns as investigation is ongoing, investigation into whatever ends, presents the findings, and now the suspension is indefinite. Napleshoosier and Hoosierfan2017 2 Quote
ALASKA HOOSIER Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Dang it Hanner! Hanner definitely had something to do with this. From now on, we need to call situations like this, "Hannered" Crimson and Cream and Naturalhoosier 2 Quote

He will be suspended until the proceedings are complete. And then he may still be suspended. I wouldn't tie the first suspension into this without some info. The suspension for game one could have been for anything dating back to the Purdue game last year. This appears to be a situation where, if the proceedings were going on by game one, he would not have played in any games up to this point. Quote

Walking Boot of Doom Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 How come football is so much more secretive about off the field issues? Quote
sirhoosierlot Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 How come football is so much more secretive about off the field issues? They're able to be. I'm sure other sports have just as many issues that we don't hear about. Basketball is just under a giant microscope 25/8 Quote
