Parakeet Jones Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 I was just grumbling to my wife last night that our recruiting had to pick up. This doesn't solve all of our issues, but this is good news and a nice step in the right direction on the recruiting front. Napleshoosier, scots07 and Class of '66 Old Fart 3 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Amazing how our general mood can do a 180 with this kind of news and think what it will do if we land another major recruit. I know I"m going to start sleeping a little better knowing we picked up CuJo. scots07, GloryDays, Hoosierboy1980 and 4 others 7 Quote
Str8Hoosiers Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 I am not trying to be negative but a legitimate question..... When do recruits typically sign a LOI? How binding is a LOI vs Verbal? My concern is if he is serious (and it wasn't just lip service) about Coach Crean's development plan being a big factor in his decision what happens if Crean is not here next year (not stating either way, just what if)? I know with a verbal it can change at any time. If he signs a LOI and then there is a coaching change he could still ask to be let out correct? Quote

If Crean leaves or is booted and he wants a release, he can be granted that. But I don't think we'll have to worry if Crean puts a good class together. Quote
eljefe6 Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Noted. We'll see what we can do. For me (android) the articles are under the Indiana University Basketball tab HoosierReb01 1 Quote

The early signing period is in November and is binding unless the school releases the player. Unless in the LOI it states player is released upon coaching change it is up to next coach. But that is rare for coach coming in to make player stick. Class of '66 Old Fart, HoosierTrav, Prilla the Thrilla and 2 others 5 Quote

BubbleKnuts Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 I'd be legitimately surprised if Bridges commited to IU. Pleasantly surprised. I honestly feel Indiana would be such a fine fit. Troy possibly leaving Quote
Stuhoo Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 . After two years that big class shrank to only two! Troy and Hartman. Wow! Noah. Pro's Stan we ran off! Davis we ran over! And one went crying home! Davis and Stan were too hot! Noah was too cold! And Fischer ran all the way home yelling weeweeweeweewee!! Bobman1, Napleshoosier and Class of '66 Old Fart 3 Quote
