Jeff Rabjohns @JeffRabjohns
Indiana's Troy Williams said he will workout with @CoachJohnLucas1 again this summer & work on his point guard skills as well.

Mike Miller @MikeMillerHT
Troy Williams shot 10,000 3-pointers last off-season. Says he'll do something similar this summer/fall.

Very happy to know he'll work with John Lucas, but aren't there other parts of his game Troy should work on?  With Yogi, RoJo, JBJ, Nick, I don't see a need for Troy to be roaming very far from the basket and jacking up 3's..  We need him working near the rim.

Well at least it couldn't be any worse than Hollowell at backup point guard experiment

With Troy not being an outside threat last year, it was to easy to lay off and shut down his driving lanes.  With an outside shot, it opens up the lane for him and for his team mates.

To add to this, we often saw an opponents 5 guard Troy.  Their 5 would sag off enough to make Troy ineffective on offense and clog the lane to shutdown driving lanes and backdoor cuts.  If Troy can become reliable (>38% from deep) while increasing his attempts the offense will be more effective.  This will also allow for Troy to play more at the 3.

I can't wait to see him play again, and I don't think everyone remembers the numbers he put up in Canada and how much he may be able to produce if he is cleared.

He showed some great ability in a game or two from Canada, but also showed some inconsistency. One game he had 16 rebounds in 19 minutes, but the next game had 3 rebounds in 22 minutes. It is too bad that he went through what he did last year because he would've been able to grow so much last year.

I wonder if anyone is working on their defense this off-season?

Or ball-handling skills?

Or rebounding?

Or decision making?

Or substitution patterns?

Or driving skills?

Or drinking skills?

Or EMT certification?

Or....
