He was out recruiting today in IU garb. Not looking like anything will change. Next year will not be fun.

 

Maybe recruiting for his new gig?  I would be okay with that, take it from the buyout lol

Ordinarily I would say you're crazy but he is recruiting two mid level guard wings for next year right?

We do not have any needs and are already over by two. Now if TB wants to come I get that but not mid level wing guards. So why recruit them. If not for his next gig then I don't like the other answer either. That of course would be that we are losing 2 guard wings and those guys are the core and the future. Surely we can't be losing two of these guys too right. I mean one argument for Crean staying is that next year looks really good.

When has the offseason ever gone smoothly?  Expect the unexpected.  Maybe he's trying to do Stevens a solid when he heads for 'Bama and a few players take off.

Crean loves wings.  Especially if it's a wing that only has one redeemable skill, jumping.  Oh, and he also loves bigs that can't do anything.

Maybe Crean is recruiting for a new job at DePaul. They have a 2015 class consisting of 4 forwards. No guards.

 

Edit: I meant the incoming Class of 2015 recruits at DePaul consists of 4 forwards.

Donovan to the NBA wouldn't surprise me. Not much to challenge him anymore at his football school. If IU wants him, the administration should move quickly before he gets away.
