First, let me just say I don't condone fighting. You can compete and "battle " through adversity without embarrassing your family, your school, and yourself by fighting. But........the IHSAA suspended two schools last year for fighting at the end of a boys game between Griffith and Hammond. After a year has passed and graduation of some participants happened, how do you feel about gaining a win by forfeit? Not saying a consequence isn't justified, but those that needed are likely gone.
