NCAA limits your seats. Walk ons normally have to sit behind the bench in NCAA cus you can only have so many.

I hope that Devin can come back, but I'm still worried about his future.  I've read comments from Coach, saying things like we don't know if he'll ever play again.  He's also said it was like a concussion times 10, and it just makes me concerned that he might not ever be able to come back or be able to play at a high level.

They had a writeup on Devin on Inside the Hall today. There were some interesting quotes but it seems that things are still a long way off for Devin. Heres a quote from Crean:

"But it’s going to take time. We’re nowhere near the contact. We’re nowhere near where we can get up and down the court. We’re pushing him hard, we’re trying to get him better with his shot, keep building his conditioning, his strength, but we’re still a long ways off before he’s going to be able to play but we’ve been given no indication to believe that we wouldn’t be able to do that. This is good news.  DD is flying under the radar right now but you have to like the recent news of physical contact with players and Yogi's recent comment that DD could be one of the best rebounders in the Big Ten.  He is a mystery and X factor heading into next season--but there is no doubting that he is a hard worker!  I hope DD continues to surprise us with his progress.

Yogi sounded confident in his press conference that Davis would be back and play a major role.  I know Yogi and Devin are close.  I know Devin was playing well on the Canadian trip.  It would be great if he is the surprise player next year and could play along with Bryant.  Davis and Bryant could play a role like Darryl Thomas and Garrett in '87.
